Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 โ Die Cut & Matte Your Photos
Die cut your tags using the Bloom File Folder Die Set. Trim and matte your photos, leaving a 3/16″ border. Round corners and ink all edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide for a warm tone.
Step 2 โ Stamp, Layer & Embellish
Stamp sentiments on your tags and tabs with Fallen Leaves ink. Add reinforcers and ribbon, then fussy cut a bird from Autumn Harvest paper and layer over your matted photo.
Step 3 โ Create the Base Page
Use the Page with Large Tab 2 Die Set to create your base. Stamp a sentiment on the tab and add hole reinforcers. Ink all edges for a cohesive finish.
Step 4 โ Build the Folder Flaps
Cut left and right flaps from 5″ x 8ยผ” cardstock. Die cut overlays and trim the right flap by 9/16″ for a perfect fit.
Step 5 โ Assemble the Flaps
Align and adhere the overlays to their flaps, then ink all edges with Vintage Photo.
Step 6 โ Add the Hinge & Photos
Create a 1″ x 8ยผ” hinge from plaid cardstock and attach between your flaps and base page. Add photos and sentiments as shown.
Step 7 โ Create the Pocket
Die cut a pocket using the Pocket with Flowers Die Set and glue along the left, right, and bottom edges only. Add a small photo over top.
Step 8 โ Add the Finishing Touches
Fussy cut florals and attach small magnets behind them for a hidden magnetic clasp. Glue into place, ensuring alignment before drying.
Final Look
Your finished Autumn Folder Page beautifully combines layered die cuts, warm autumn tones, and clever details that make your memories come alive.
