Well HELLO Creative Scrapbookers, it’s been a minute! Kim here with a blog post I have been promising to share, but there always seems to be something that pulls me in a different direction! So here goes!
First, isn’t it wonderful that we are seeing creative events happen in real life again? Tables full of friends laughing, scrapbooking, learning and likely shopping as well, is a experience not to be missed!

My first in-person retreat; post Covid, was with the team from Elizabeth Craft Designs. They hosted an amazing Creative Retreat in Banff, Canada, no detail was left unmanaged! The venue, the instructors, the projects, the goody bags [WOWSERS!] and of course the people made it a huge success. Lots of new friendships made and I connected with people I had only ‘met’ online. I enjoyed the event so much, I signed up again for the 2024 Creative Retreat.

I had used ECD products in the past here and there, but being in person with the actual designers of the collections opened my eyes to the possibilities. During this five day retreat I fell in love with the planner we started to fill, but also with the ‘system’ itself. Since then it is where I have been focusing my creative time. I finished my BANFF album, finished a December Day-by-Day album, facilitated by Annette Green and am currently working on a 2024 Week-by-Week album documenting the everyday stuff of life [good and not so good].
Now, LESS words and MORE photo shares! I am hoping some of my favourite layouts inspire you to maybe try something new!
Thanks for staying to the end of this post! I sure hope you are able to sign up for an in-person event sometime, you will likely leave ‘full-up’ with good vibes! Fortunately if a live retreat is not possible, there are virtual retreats that continue to be part of our world. Creative Scrapbooker’s VIP Club offers amazing content to connect you with other crafters, online classes and virtual ZOOM Crops every month! It can all be experienced in real time or your time! Perfect for anyone’s busy world or creative introverts [I can be that person too!].
Happy Scrapbooking!
