Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans!
Today, I’m thrilled to share how I created this Merry Little Christmas Card. This project features a blend of products from Ranger Ink, Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s Super Stock, Penny Black dies, and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.A handmade Merry Little Christmas card featuring Penny Black dies with a die-cut winter scene of a deer, trees, and the sentiment 'Have yourself a merry little Christmas,' created for Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Follow along as I guide you through the steps to craft this festive card. Grab your favorite drink, and let’s dive in!

Step 1: Create the Card Base and WindowA step-by-step process image showing a die-cut circular window in white cardstock, created using Penny Black dies for a Merry Little Christmas card tutorial featured in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine

  1. Cut a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine to 4” x 5 ¼”.
  2. Place the Woodgrain Circle Die by Penny Black 3/8” from the top and ½” from the right of the cardstock.
  3. Run the piece through your die-cutting machine.

Step 2: Prepare the Background

  1. Cut a se piece of Super Stock to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” for the card base.A piece of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Superstock cut to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” to serve as the card base, part of the Merry Little Christmas card tutorial using Penny Black dies.
  2. Die-cut the Tree Trio from Penny Black out of Super Stock. Step 3: Add Evergreen and Deer Accents

  1. Die-cut the Evergreen Tree from the Natures Beauty die set. Blend Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink for a vibrant green look.A die-cut evergreen tree inked with a vibrant green finish, created using Penny Black's Nature's Beauty dies, alongside the die set, for a Christmas card tutorial featured in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine
  2. Die-cut the left-facing deer from the same set. Step 4: Stamp the Sentiment

  1. From the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set by Stampers Anonymous, use the “Have yourself a merry little Christmas” sentiment.A stamped sentiment reading 'Have yourself a merry little Christmas' in red ink, created using Stampers Anonymous stamps for a Christmas card tutorial featured in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.
  2. Stamp the sentiment using Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink on Super Stock and trim to 5/8” x 2 ½”.

Step 5: Assemble the CardA partially assembled Merry Little Christmas card featuring layered die-cut trees and a deer adhered inside a die-cut circle, created using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L EZ Runner Grand, as part of a tutorial for Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.

  1. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the trees inside the circle cutout as desired.
  2. Layer the deer over the trees for dimension.
  3. Attach the sentiment ¾” from the bottom and aligned to the right using E-Z Runner.

Step 6: Add Final Touches

  2. Create the card base by cutting Super Stock to 4 ¼” x 11”, scoring at 5 ½”.
