Sprays: Lindy’s Gang Starburst Sprays – Tainted Love, Freaky Franken-Lime, Hag’s Wart Orange
Paper & Inks: Ranger Dylusions Mixed Media Cardstock, Archival Ink
Coloring: Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils
Adhesives & Finishes: Ranger Collage Medium, Distress Sprayer, Glossy Accents
Tools: Sizzix Trimmer, Sizzix Stamp & Stencil Tool, OLFA Craft Grid Ruler, Scissors, Stamp Block, Ranger Heat It Tool
Extras: Zebra Pen Mechanical Pencil & Vintage Sarasa Pen, Spellbinders Sequins

Steps to Create Your ATCs

Here’s a peek at the process (see full instructions in the free PDF!):

  1. Spray Background – Mist mixed media cardstock with Lindy’s sprays for vibrant pops of color. Mixed media cardstock sprayed with Lindy’s Gang Starburst sprays for Retro Carnival ATC background.

  2. Add Water – Lightly mist with a Distress Sprayer to let the colors blend. Spritzing water over sprayed cardstock to blend colors for Retro Carnival ATC project.

  3. Heat Dry – Use the Heat It Tool to lock in those gorgeous splashes.Drying sprayed background with Ranger Heat It tool for Retro Carnival ATC.

  4. Stamp Design – Stamp the Retro Carnival image with Archival Ink.Stamping Retro Carnival design onto colorful background with Archival Ink.

  5. Trim to ATC Size – Cut down to the standard 2.5” x 3.5”. Save scraps for sentiments.Cutting sprayed and stamped cardstock down to ATC size 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

  6. Add Watercolor Pencil Accents – Apply Distress watercolor pencils to highlight areas.Coloring stamped ATC image with Distress watercolor pencils.

  7. Glossy Accents – Coat the central star with Glossy Accents for dimension.Applying Glossy Accents to highlight the star in the center of the Retro Carnival ATC.

  8. Stamp Sentiments – Use the Noteworthy stamp set to create empowering phrases.Attaching stamped and distressed sentiment strips onto Retro Carnival ATCs with Collage Medium.

  9. Distress Edges – Cut out sentiments with OLFA scissors, shade edges with watercolor pencil, then attach with Collage Medium.Stamping and fussy cutting uplifting sentiments for Retro Carnival ATC project.

  10. Details & Signatures – Add pencil lines using your OLFA ruler, “Limited Edition” stamp, and your signature.Adding “Limited Edition” stamp and hand-drawn details to back of Retro Carnival ATC.

  11. Finishing Touches – Adhere sequins for sparkle.Decorating Retro Carnival ATCs with Spellbinders sequins for sparkle and texture.

  12. Share & Swap – Keep one and send three to friends!Completed Retro Carnival ATCs featuring bright colors, stamped stars, sequins, and inspirational sentiments.
