Hello everyone! Karen Ellis here on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog today. For my turn on Tuesday’s with the Team, I am happy to share with you a project close to my heart – cards of thanks and remembrance. Some of you may know that I am a reservist member of the Canadian Forces- CIC Branch. I work with our youth Cadet Program. This time of year is very special to me. I am honoured to wear the uniform and support our country’s youth. Last month I attended ScrapFest at the CreativFestival in Toronto with the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. It was a fabulous event that had not only some wonderful paper crafting vendors, but sewing and needlework vendors as well. One of the booths there represented Quilts of Valour – Canada Society. Happy Monday everyone! Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Don’t you just love patterned paper with large life-like quality graphics on them? A few weeks ago Tracy McLennon also created a layout featuring this gorgoues collection of patterned paper with LARGE graphical photo quality images on them – CLICK HERE to see Tracy’s creation. Here is what I created with a few different pieces of patterned papers from Paper House…

Using the Butterfly Kisses Collection from Bo Bunny, some chipboard pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Company and pairing them up with new quarry stones and embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies as well as a variety of products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful vintage “Love” card. Make sure to grab a cup of your favourite beverage as I show you how to create the elements on my card as well as inspire you to recreate this project in the comforts of your own home. From Bo Bunny’s Butterfly Kisses – Peaceful paper, cut a piece that measures 5 ¾” x 5 ¾”. Once the piece…
