Hi! Kim here with another Sketchy Challenge completed! I am all caught up and readyΒ for the August reveal! Here is the July Sketchy Challenge that inspired my layout! I chose to rotate it and work vertical! All patterned papers are from Close To My Heartβs [CTMH] Georgie Workshop to go. I have also used cardstock and ink from CTMHβs product line, everything plays so nice together when it comes from the same company! Several adhesives from Scrapbooking Adhesives by 3L keeps everything together. The following pictures are some close ups of some of the embellishments I cut using CTMHβs Artistry Cricut Cartridge. This is such an amazing cartridge of images, there is something for every possible occasion or event. It is one of my most used cartridges, followed closely by all of CTMHβs cartridges. For more inspiration, be sure to find yourself a CTMH consultant, their newest catalogue will…

Hey everyoneβ¦Kim here, sharing my take on our April Sketch.Β This monthβs sketch is a very basic, graphic design that could be used over and overβ¦and look different every time! I love that! My four square grid is a bit βlostβ in the background, but if you look youβll see it! I used products from Heartfelt Creationβs collection, βItaliana Rivieraβ. These papers, stamps and dies are stunning! They were so fun to play with. Check out this detail shot to see the layers. Some of the layers were made with the stamp, dies and Clearsnap Chalk inks. The other layers were created by βfussyβ cutting from a second sheet of paper and layering on top of the same image using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares.Β Heartfelt Creationβs Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit was used to add dimension to my cuts. I was so pleased with how the details looked on…
Hello everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today to share a couple of projects I made using Chameleon Pens! First is a card I coloured and demonstrated on Periscope last week.Β You can click HERE to see the blog post with the video tutorial about this card. Did you know that Chameleon Pens has free downloads for colouring on their website PLUS Color Cards you can purchase? I have 2 sets… Flowers and Zen. These Color Cards are so helpful and have pre-made samples inside to show you how to color and shade with the pens. One tip I have is to use that Colorless Blender pen to help smooth the shading and color tones. So in the photo below, I add color gradations of purple to the tulip and then I blend with the Colorless Blender pen. Also, I do not leave the color tip in the chamber for too…

Good day Creative Scrapbookers! Jayme Loge here today with a few layouts from my craft table. I wanted to play with a few simple supplies and try to create a couple of layouts with them. I started with a few sheets of We R Memory Keepers patterned paper and coordinating sticker set, a few sheets of Bazzill cardstock and an American Crafts alphabet set. Hereβs what I did with them: First, I started off using the Creative Scrapbooker Magazineβs sketch from this monthβs βLetβs Get Sketchyβ challenge – CLICK HERE to download your take on this sketch! I added the heart to the background with some βvintageβ Heidi Swapp masks and Inca Gold paste. I changed the orientation of the sketch somewhat and used a special old photo taken on a trip to Mexico in 2000. Back then, film cameras were still in use and disposable panoramic cameras were all…
Hi there, Connie Nichol here today with a romantic scrapbook layout inspired by the February sketch in the CSM Sketchy Gallery. Here’s the sketch this month. Β I ended up only using the idea of a heart tucked behind the photo, but it was a good place to start. I started with the most gorgeous piece of patterned paper from Heartfelt Creations Peacock and Paisley line. Β The colours and patterns are simply beautiful. I stamped a romantic stamp from Quietfire Design onto one of the patterned Heartfelt Creations journalling cards. Β It was a perfect embellishment for a wedding photo. For the finishing touches, the title ‘Always and Forever’, heart and butterflies were cut from Quietfire Design digital cutting files using a Sizzix Eclips 2 and the calligraphic heart is a metal die from Β the Calligraphic Elements 1 set fromΒ Elizabeth Craft Designs. Β Head over to the Quietfire Design blog to see…
