Making a Ribbon Mat for Your Page I love the texture of ribbons and I am always looking for a new way to use it on my page. In this layout I created a mat with pieces of May Arts ribbons. I started with Be CreativeΒ Sookwang double sidedΒ tape,Β a big pile of awesome May Arts ribbon and a piece of scrap chipboard. I then put two strips of tape down each side of the chipboard. I cut several strips of ribbon just a bit longer then the chipboard. I attached the strips to the tape on one side. Wrapped it around the front and then attached it to the other side. I LOVE working with fall colours! Who’s with me?? SUPPLIES: Bo Bunny patterned paper, buttons, chipboard, brads, film sticker and cardstock, Tombow Dual Brush pen, Stamp Runner and Xtreme Adhesive, Clearsnap ColorBox Spritzers and ink, May Arts Ribbon I used the Bo Bunny Take a Hike collection. The warm earthy tones, that work with practically any type of photo. My layout today, focuses on one special photo. So I created a base of lots of layers of pattern and texture to showcase that special photo.Β Along the top border of patterned paper I added a line of coordinating decorative brads, for some additional texture.
