Mixed Media Scrapbooking with Izinks

One of the best parts of going to a crop is getting to play with our friends’ supplies. Last March, on the first night of our weekend crop at Pigeon Lake, I spied this row of Aladine Izinks Pigment Ink distributed by Clearsnap. That night I dreamed about Clearnsp Izinks all night. I literally dreamed about them. Dripping them actually! I was so excited to get my hands on the Izink pigment inks that I woke up before everyone else. I used Canadian Scrapbooker Super Stock (CSS) as my base, and as I wasn’t sure how the Izink would drip I used gesso on my second page. The first page was naked. When to stop and when not to? by Christy Riopel January always makes me a little introspective and I tend to scrapbook more interpersonal stuff this time of year. I created this layout about dealing with the old(er) girl in the mirror these days. SUPPLIES: FabScraps pattened paper and chipboard, Aladine Izink inks distributed by Clearsnap, May Arts ribbon, Impression Obsession stamps, ColorBox Surfacez ink by Clearsnap, Spellbinders dies and Grand Calibur die cutting machine, Dymo Label Maker, Ranger Industries gel pen, Beacon Adhesives. It ended up being an exploration in not just one hard question ( when did I get this old?) but in another unrelated question I often face….. When do I stop? When is enough on a layout?
