Today we are featuring Jayme Loge’s take on our monthly sketch challenge. SUPPPLIES: Bazzill Basics Paper cardstock, BasicGrey patterned paper, May Arts ribbon, Pageframes acrylic snowflake, Simple Stories sticker. Tombow Xtreme adhesives. Scraps of Info – “I save leftover bits of paper and embellishments for the purpose of making cards, especially if I only need one at a time. This card was made with some real treasures as I think the BasicGrey paper line (Kioshi) is at least 5 years old! It was created to be an Easter/Spring line, but I thought the crisp cool colours worked for a wintry feel.” Jayme Loge Jayme based her card on our monthly sketchy challenge! Heartfelt Creations has a beautiful paper collection called ‘Celebrate the Journey’ that went perfectly with my picture. The papers in this line come in soft hues of teal, pink, green and brown and feature subtle travel themed patterns such as words, script, maps, bicycles and balloons. Matching stamps and dies are also available. Inspired by the flourishes on the March sketch, I reached for a Heartfelt Creations flourish backgrounds stamp and added some subtle blue touches to the page behind the photo mat. For embellishments, I just cut out pieces’from another piece of patterned paper in…
