Hi everybody, Connie here with my take on the March sketch from the Canadian Scrapbooker It’s a Sketchy Challenge . I stayed pretty true to the sketch this time around and used it to feature a favourite photo of my boys and I on a vacation in the Rocky Mountains a few years ago. Heartfelt Creations has a beautiful paper collection called ‘Celebrate the Journey’ that went perfectly with my picture. The papers in this line come in soft hues of teal, pink, green and brown and feature subtle travel themed patterns such as words, script, maps, bicycles and balloons. Matching stamps and dies are also available.
Inspired by the flourishes on the March sketch, I reached for a Heartfelt Creations flourish backgrounds stamp and added some subtle blue touches to the page behind the photo mat.
For embellishments, I just cut out pieces’from another piece of patterned paper in the Celebrate the Journey collection, clustered them together and gave them some dimension with foam adhesive. Add a little bit of ribbon and voila. Quick and easy, and another page complete!
Supplies: Heartfelt Creations patterned paper and stamps, Clearsnap Colorbox chalk ink, May Arts ribbon, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Beacon Adhesives, Stampin’ Up! edge distressor, Basic Grey chipboard letters.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone

Nice!!!!
That paper sure goes with the “marble” title. Great work, Connie.
PS – it sure is fun to watch how your boys have grown over the years, I feel I almost know them.
