Making Rainbows with Tombow and the Brother ScanNCut

Hi Everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today, and I’m sharing a project I designed using Tombow products and the Brother ScanNCut machine. I love making inspirational signs and home décor pieces and thought I would brighten up my studio space with a rainbow. Of course, I knew I would use Tombow Dual Brush pens to create the rainbow because, well, Tombow pens come in every colour imaginable and more! I started by drawing the clouds on Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock with my Tombow drafting Mono pencil. And whenever I am using a pencil, I have one of Tombow’s erasers on hand. I just love this MONO Knock eraser that dispenses like a pen, so you have a fine tip eraser for lines. Then I traced over my pencil lines with the bullet nib end of the black Tombow Dual Brush pen. Kelly Klapstein’s Take on our March Sketchy Challenge

Hi everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here to share my layout based on our March Sketchy challenge. Here is the sketch: I used the gorgeous paper collection called “Soiree” by BoBunny. These papers are perfect for my daughter’s photo because she adores all things vintage and retro. I used my Brother ScanNCut to create the title, including the hand lettered ‘Hello,’ which is a cut file I designed myself. I also outlined the “Sweet Sixteen” with a Sakura white Gelly Roll pen. This dimensional flower with leaves is from the ScanNCut machine library of images. And the banner is an Impression Obsession stamp that was scanned and cut with the ScanNCut also…. no fussy cutting! I coloured the banners with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Did you know the ScanNCut also has the ability to draw designs? I used the drawing pens feature for the journaling. That little brown gingham…
