Hoping for spring! Materials: Magenta Stamps and cork sticker, Liquitex Gel Medium, book paper, Clearsnap inks, Canuck Crafts Spectrum Noir coloured pencils, Charcoal pencil I did this little art journal page to give myself a little bit of spring. I don’t think I am the only person who is ready for birds singing and sun shining! I started by using matt gel medium to attach these images over my background. I really like colouring over the gel medium with these Spectrum Noir pencils. They are so smooth and silky and blend beautifully. Happy Spring! Yummy Bo Bunny neutrals and Canuck Crafts Spectrum Noir Bendable Pencils! Materials: Bo Bunny patterned papers, stickers, flowers, wood embellishments and jewels, Canuck Crafts Spectrum Noir pencils, and blender marker, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Canuck Crafts Spectrum Noir pencils are so creamy and rich that they make them the perfect way to add colour to these beautiful Bo Bunny papers. I used them under my embellishments to create a beautiful peek-a-boo of warm colour. I started by drawing a line where the edge of my photo will be and then colouring in areas around it. I ran out of blending solution for the pencils, but in the pinch I discovered something fantastic!!! I used my blending Spectrum Noir Marker to polish and blend my colouring. Nothing is more exciting than new markers!!! I feel like a little kid. Canuck Crafts Spectrum Noir Markers has improved and revamped their alcohol markers. I love the little rubber grips and the bigger ink reservoir…. Yet they are still very reasonably priced. I used these markers to create this great background for my art journal page. I have to confess that I have never taken any formal training in colouring with alcohol markers… I will share my hack way of colouring. 1. I started by stamping this poppy from Stampendous in black Memento ink. 2. I choose 3-5 colours that are in a similar family…from a very light to very dark.
