Stamping Wood Slices Hello. Good morning Jack Frost. Hello world! It wasnโt until December that it arrived, but the snow has fallen in Newfoundland and will undoubtedly remain until long into Spring. If you are like me, you are enjoying the Season already as you trim the tree, attend parades, dance at the office holiday parties and, of course, send out a gazillion Christmas and holiday cards. But I quite like it. The cold invites me to stay inside next to my fireplace and craft the night away. I created this card with a new fancy die called Sleigh Rides created by Stampinโ Up! as well as the Softly Falling Textured embossing folder (a must get). It was easy, not to mention gorgeous. The iridescent ice glimmer paper looks exactly like snow. Every year I make each of my children a personalized ornament. This year I gathered the clear bulbs…

Hello everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today. I thought for December I would change things up a bit and design a card sketch for the Sketchy Challenge, hoping that everyone would enjoy making Christmas cards. Here is my card: I used Creative Memories papers, Border Punch System and pen. With the leftover confetti bits from the border punch, I added them as ‘snowball’ embellishments. I used the Creative Memories marker to doodle on the 3 white triangle trees and to write my sentiment “let it snow.” Here are some samples of more cards that my friends made last weekend using the sketch: As you can see, the creative possibilities for this card sketch are limitless! I hope you join in the fun… because we will also be featuring many of your Christmas cards on Facebook and Instagram too! Remember to upload all your cards and layouts to the Sketchy Gallery!…
Are you feeling merry today? Well, itโs November now and you might as well get used to the Christmas jingles and dรฉcor every way you look. For me, the Christmas season doesnโt start until a certain coffee shop releases their holiday cupsโฆ Thatโs right. I get giddy inside and I instantly want to hoard keep my first empty cup in order to scrapbook it later. I am immediately ready to tackle the season head on while I fill up my planner with parties and traditions. Itโs pretty much the most exciting time of the year! Isnโt that right? Fa La La La La! You should be singing Fa La La La La, if you noticed how the branches of the tree were raised in the photo above. Thatโs right, its an amazing framelit from Stampinโ Up! that coordinates with the Peaceful Pines stamp set. Quite easy and quite amazing. Christmas…

Sometimes it takes perspective to really make you think about your world in a different way. In May of this year, I was given news of a close friendโs health diagnosis. A diagnosis that nobody wants to hear. She then set out on a courageous journey. She was to fight as hard as she possibly could, despite the fact that it seemed impossible. And also, she was to spread as much joy and kindness to all the land near and far. She built a bucket list and crossed them off her list. But this bucket list wasnโt โgo to Franceโ or items like that. It was items such as โknit 30 newborn hats for the hospitalโ. She did random acts of kindness, she hugged everyone she met and she gave thanks. Let me repeat. She gave thanks. She continues to breathe those words and write those letters. She is battling…
