Hello everyone Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog with a simple Happy Birthday layout featuring products by MultiCraft and Chameleon Pens. I was immediately drawn to Multicraft’s Art Therapy Stickers. They are massive stickers that you can color, how fun is that?  They offer so many possibilities.  The package comes with large stickers and labels that can be combined to create a graphic, whimsical layout. I could have colored the entire sticker, (they are smooth and they love Chameleon Pens), but I opted to leave it in black and white and just color one label.I adhered the label sticker to some cardstock to give it some strength.  After I colored it with my Chameleon Pens I mounted it on foam squares to give some dimension to the layout. The large Art Therapy stickers have a sentiment in the middle. Using an exact-o knife I cut around the inside of…

Hello friends! Tracy McLennon here, and I am loving that Autumn is right around the corner in my neck of the woods. Cooler days, changing leaves and of course pumpkin spice everything. To celebrate in a crafty way, I created this Take Life One Cup At A Time card, with a fall colour scheme. I started my creation by stamping this fabulous Art Impressions image onto white cardstock using black Archival Ink. Then I added colour using Chameleon Pens. I did so using some simple bold shading for more of a cartoon look. Then I simply fussy cut around the images leaving a narrow white border. I inked the edges of all of my patterned and cardstock layers using Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink. Using patterned papers from the Hello Fall collection from Carta Bella, I hand cut leaves that were about 1.5” long and 1” wide. Then I added them…

The FREE September colouring card is here!  Thank you so much to our amazing designer Betty Hung for illustrating for us a beautiful card each and every month. This month Betty has created a sunflower card for you to design using all the gorgeous colours of fall if you like.  Here is Betty’s take on her illustration. Betty used Chameleon Color Tone pens to colour and shade her September illustration. Have you tried Chameleon pens yet?  You should! The 22 Pen Deluxe Set is a great place to start! The  22 vibrant colors produce over 100 color tones giving you the ability to create stunning effects such as 3D, smooth transitions, highlighting, shading, gradations and blending, all with one pen. Each pen goes from as light as a hint of a tint to rich tones, eliminating tonal gaps in your collection.  One pen blends multiple tones. The Chameleon Color Tones system allow you to…

Good Morning everyone! Kim here with a very quick layout share of my take on our June Sketchy Challenge. As you will see, once again I have flipped and rotated the sketch! My layout still only loosely follows the new perspective, but you’ll see how the components of the layout are still there!Echo Park’s Dog collection was the perfect choice for my subject; my ready-to-go chocolate lab Bella! I used MultiCraft’s card stock as my base as well as adhesives from Therm O Web and a Chameleon Color Tones pen aptly named ‘bark’ [though probably as it relates to a tree not a dog-LOL]. We look forward to seeing how you use our monthly sketches from the Sketchy Gallery! We LOVE to share them on social media!

Each and every week, we look back in time and remember the beautiful art of our late friend and colleague Christy Riopel. Christy’s designs are timeless. So many of her creations from way back when continue to inspire us today. This week we are looking back to the Fall 2016 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Christy’s regular feature called The Tool Junkie. In this issue, Christy created a number of different projects featuring Chameleon Color Tone Pens. Here is one of the designs featured along with the basic step by steps to create faux stained glass tiles. For this project, Christy used Chameleon Color Tone Pens – have you tried playing with these pens? They are AWESOME!!!! Have a wonderful Saturday everyone. In loving memory of Christy Riopel – we continue to raise money for the Christy Riopel Art Scholarship. To date – one scholarship has been given through The…

Windows, flowers and a bright colour scheme, can you tell that I’m ready for Spring? Hello everyone Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine bloghaving some fun with Therm O Web products! When our design team package arrived bursting with Therm O Web Gina K. Designs and iCraft products –  the first thing that caught my eye were the Decofoil Clear Designer Toner Sheets with the floral sketch design. So many possibilities and they felt so springy! Toner Sheets – SO Easy to Customize The toner sheets come in a variety of designs. For this project I used Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils – Glittering Green. To add foil to the toner sheets you lay the foil of your choice, on top of the toner sheet, sandwhich everything between a piece of parchment paper and send it through the laminator. Send it fold first and avoid folds or uneven parchment…
