Hello, Connie Nichol here with some cards I created with Impression Obsession stamps and dies, Chameleon Pens and Core’dinations cardstock. I only meant to make one card, but I was having so much fun stamping and colouring that I ended up with a few slightly different versions. My philosophy is that while you’ve got all the supplies scattered about, keep creating!! It’s an awesome feeling to have a bunch of cards prepared and ready to go when you need them. Hi ALL! Kim Gowdy here with a quick card share! Trying to get my head out of winter; so I’ve had fun creating a card, using this leaf stamp and sentiment stamp from Magenta. The card kind of reminds me of a tropical destination [NOT on my calendar] and warms my winter heart. All of the colour applied to the card was done with Sakura’s CRAY-PAS oil pastels and some yellow was added to the background with Sakura’s Koi watercolor brush pens. The oil pastels were quite fun to play with. They layer and blend so smoothly. I added a few colours and used a piece of paper towel on my finger to blend and kept layering until I was happy…SO EASY. The colors are soft yet vibrant…I look forward to more creative time with them. Have a CREATIVE day!

I created this 5×5 card using a few of my favorite Sizzix dies including the Birch Thinlit die. I used various Sizzix dies to create the foliage including Tattered Pinecone, Layered Leaf and Tattered Leaves. I love inking up these filigree metal leaf charms from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Ranger’s Peeled Paint Distress Paint is perfect for distressing these metal charms. I created my own leaves with watercolor paper and an assortment of Ranger Distress Spray Stains peeled paint, lucky clover and twisted citron. I inked the leaves with Ranger Distress Inks peeled paint, lucky clover and twisted citron right onto the canvas.
