Hello and Happy New Year! Kim here with a quick layout share using Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s December Sketchy Challenge. December’s wreath sketch was once again designed by the talented Kerry Engel and easily spoke to our holiday brains as a backdrop to holiday pictures. My brain quickly went to winter, Christmas, green, red and gold when I initially saw the design…that’s when my hand went up and said NO! I like to challenge the sketches by thinking outside of my gut feelings. I had all kinds of winter themed product on my desk and couldn’t get my brain away from a Christmas wreath vision, so I cleared it ALL off my table and pulled out the first collection of paper I had that was NOT Christmas.
