Kerry Engel is on our latest Web Show designing STUNNING acetate and alcohol ink embellishments that are a SHOW STOPPER. At the heart of Kerry’s designs is her favourite cutting tool – the Brother ScanNCut! Kerry was able to cut out intricate designs on a piece of acetate with her Brother ScanNCut and then coloured them using vibrant alcohol inks. WOWZERS. The results are STUNNING! For this particular project Kerry used a botanical cut file from Brother ScanNCut to create all this beautiful foliage. Hello crafty friends! Tracy here and today I have a pretty little layout to share and a card I also created using some leftover bits and pieces featuring Echo Park Paper Co. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L AND the Brother ScanNCut SDX125Here are all of the details. The first step was to create my simple layered background. Then cut 2 patterned mats that I distressed the edges on. Adhere these layers together. Add the matted photo and a couple of strips of patterned paper to the left-hand side of the layout using the E-Z Runner Grand and Crafty Foam Tape. I then added a few cardstock sticker embellishments around the layout, including the title in the bottom right-hand corner.…

There’s a new baby joining my family! Hey crafters, Nicole Wright here and no it’s not me! My great nephew will be here in a couple months and I needed a card STAT for the baby shower. Let me set the scene… I need a quick card because I have left it to the last minute. My Brother Scan N’ Cut2 is perfect for making this quick card in just 15 minutes. I whipped through the cuts and went straight for the animals. I mean you can’t go wrong with a giraffe. I select the cuts and adjust my size to fit my standard card. Load my scrap paper onto the cut mat… in the middle because it’s sticky there. I cut the words in both patterned paper and black to create a shadow. Why not… I’m already cutting right. Then I do the same with the giraffe. I cut the patterned…
