There’s a new baby joining my family! Hey crafters, Nicole Wright here and no it’s not me! My great nephew will be here in a couple months and I needed a card STAT for the baby shower. Let me set the scene… I need a quick card because I have left it to the last minute. My Brother Scan N’ Cut2 is perfect for making this quick card in just 15 minutes.
I whipped through the cuts and went straight for the animals. I mean you can’t go wrong with a giraffe.
I select the cuts and adjust my size to fit my standard card. Load my scrap paper onto the cut mat… in the middle because it’s sticky there.
I cut the words in both patterned paper and black to create a shadow. Why not… I’m already cutting right. Then I do the same with the giraffe. I cut the patterned paper hooves, tail, and the top to expose the black then adhered
Ink up the giraffe, Baby Boy and background with Oxide Ink Walnut Stain by Ranger Ink. I created my own whimsical background with Stampers Anonymous Big Top to layer the cuts over.
Pop up the giraffe and Boy with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares because they are the best!
Making a great card doesn’t have to take a long time. Even a quick card can look fabulous. The Brother Scan N’ Cut2 is a perfect way to make this whimsical Baby Card when time is limited. Each cut is perfect for layering!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
