Hi friends! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here, and I’m so excited that Summer has actually arrived in the Northern hemisphere! To celebrate, Creative Memories has released a fantastic summer collection called Citrus Summer! It’s full of saturated summer colors and delicious patterns, images, and icons and I knew it would be just perfect to use with some photos of my boys and me at the water park from a few summers ago. I love the look of a word-art cut-file, so I created one to share with all of you who visit the Creative Scrapbooker Blog! The “Summer Fun!” cut-file is available for FREE in the shop on my own Blog, or on the Free Projects Tab of the Creative Scrapbooker website! Just download the zipped file to your computer and extract the cut-file image in JPG, PNG and SVG file formats. Then, follow the instructions for your electronic cutting machine…

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a summer layout featuring digital cut files and a stamp from Quietfire Design. A few years ago my boys decided to canoe (i.e. float) down the North Saskatchewan River. They launched in Edmonton, and I was instructed to pick them up downstream in three hours time. Unfortunately, the river was quite low and the current slow, and it took a lot longer than the predicted three hours. Of course, my husband had no cell phone with him so I had no idea where the canoe was. I waited and I waited and they finally showed up…… phew. They have never repeated that particular adventure. I love the versatility of having an electronic die cutting machine. It’s amazing. Need a canoe to embellish a canoeing layout? Presto, wave the magic wand and cut a canoe, paddles and water with your Sizzix Eclips 2. Any…
Hello, Connie Nichol here today with an easy layout about one of my favourite flowers. Oh, how I adore the smell of these tiny flowers which appear reliably in my flower bed every May. Lily of the Valley plants can spread quite aggressively so I keep them segregated in their own flower bed on a shady side of the garage. I was inspired to create this layout by the new Elizabeth Craft Designs 4 seasons words dies and a most beautiful lily of the valley cut file from Quietfire Design. I cut the lily of the valley embellishments out of CTMH cardstock with my Sizzix Eclips2 electronic die cutting machine. The CTMH cardstock cuts beautifully, it is just the right weight. The page background is made by spritzing some Clearsnap Silver Foil Smooch Spritz over a Crafter’s Workshop template. The title is cut out with several Elizabeth Craft Designs…

Hi everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here to share my layout based on our March Sketchy challenge. Here is the sketch: I used the gorgeous paper collection called “Soiree” by BoBunny. These papers are perfect for my daughter’s photo because she adores all things vintage and retro. I used my Brother ScanNCut to create the title, including the hand lettered ‘Hello,’ which is a cut file I designed myself. I also outlined the “Sweet Sixteen” with a Sakura white Gelly Roll pen. This dimensional flower with leaves is from the ScanNCut machine library of images. And the banner is an Impression Obsession stamp that was scanned and cut with the ScanNCut also…. no fussy cutting! I coloured the banners with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Did you know the ScanNCut also has the ability to draw designs? I used the drawing pens feature for the journaling. That little brown gingham…
