Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a bright and summery scrapbook layout to lift our spirits during the dark days of November.  This last week or two has been cloudy, dark and gloomy, not typical for the Canadian prairies where I live.  Scrapbooking with bright colours and summer pictures helps keep my mood up.  Can’t you just smell those roses? I started with a few pieces of FabScraps patterned paper.  This Country Kitchen line is so pretty – I especially love the papers with sunflowers and gold finches.  The papers are two sided  so I used both sides of the two papers pictured below, Sunflowers and Tea Lovers.  I moistened and then curled the edges of the photo mat to create some extra emphasis and stitched around the main part of the page with dark green thread.
