Heartfelt Creations Backyard Blossoms

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring stamps, dies and patterned paper from the Heartfelt Creations Backyard Blossoms collection. I adore the coneflowers and other blooms that are its focus. In addition to patterned paper, there are three stamp sets with matching dies that are part of the collection. I’ve used the set called ‘Blossoming Coneflower’. I stamped the images with Ranger archival black ink and coloured them with Chameleon pens. These pens were absolutely perfect for this project – I could achieve gradation of colour in the petals and leaves with a single pen. Supplies Used: Heartfelt Creations patterned paper, stamps and dies, MultiCraft flakes, glue, letter stickers and wooden butterfly, Chameleon Color Tone pens, Ranger ink, Glue Dots Adhesives, corrugated cardboard, doily. Guitar Scrapbook Layout featuring MultiCraft and Glue Dots

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring a number of products manufactured by MultiCraft and adhered together with various adhesives from Glue Dots. MultiCraft is based in Ottawa and strives to provide great quality craft items at reasonable prices. Some of the brand names under the MultiCraft umbrella are Forever in Time, Craft Medley and Color Factory. I find many of their products at my local dollar store so they are an excellent choice for frugal paper crafters. I started with some Forever in TIme Vintage Rose patterned cardstock. I moistened the top and bottom edges with a paintbrush and some water and rolled and ripped them to create a border. Here’s what the flip side of some of those patterned paper looks like. Merry & Bright by Simple Stories

I love a good collection and Simple Stories never disappoints. Their new “Merry & Bright” Collection has an abundance of yummy pieces: chipboard, stickers, frames, tags, wash tape and paper. Everything coordinates making layering and and creating embellishment clusters a dream. This layout is actually a large “Z”. If you squint you can see it. I was inspired by an advertisement I saw in a magazine. The page is comprised of three embellishment clusters built on three cardstock circles to create a colorful photo stack. I used an assortment of the “Bits & Pieces”, Chipboard Stickers, card-stock stickers and washi tape to create three photo-stacks. Along the bottom, I decorated a card-stock border sticker with little words. Then I mounted the vintage car on a couple of Pop-Up Dots™ by Glue Dots to give it some height. Layering these elements creates interest, depth and a bit of whimsy. It looks like my…

Kim takes on our November Sketchy Challenge with Sun Drenched collection from Paper House Productions

Hello again! Kim here with a quick layout share using some of the gorgeous papers from Paper House Productions’ Sun Drenched paper pad! This collection is full of beautiful colours and patterns…perfect for beach days of summer or winter holidays!I used this month’s Sketchy Challenge as a starting point for my layout, our sketches are always a great source of inspiration! Once I chose the papers to work with I alter my page a bit with some stencilling using Ranger’s Distress Oxide ink and a stencil from MultiCraft. I used a couple of the 4×6 accent cards from the paper pad to layer with my photos, I love how they kind of become an extension of my photos in colour and pattern! I used a bit of Distress Oxide Ink on the paper edges to bring the focus in towards the pics! I added some Forever in Time Puffy Letter…
