Love this layout that Kim Gowdy created for the Winter issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Kim designed the layout using the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Traveler collection. The journaling was done using a Kelly Creates black Fineliner. Everything was glued together using Glue Dots Permanent Glue Squares. Hey, Kim here with a quick layout share! I created this simple layout last week using Simple Stories’ Hey Crafty Girl Collection. It’s a family photo taken from this past summer! The Hey Crafty Girl collection is a great mix of fun patterns and colours. From 12×12 papers, journal blocks, stickers, ephemera and chipboard pieces – this kit will provide hours of creative fun! Some additional supplies used on my layout include: Chameleon Fineliner pens for my journaling. A couple of adhesives from Glue Dots. Ranger Distress Oxide Ink was used to colour my wooden tag (that came off of some unknown product that we bought at some point).Studio Calico plastic heart & May Arts twine. Have you picked up the WINTER issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine? It will keep you inspired until the SPRING issue arrives!

Kerry Engel has been a little Christmas Elf creating Christmas cards for friends and families. Recently she was playing with the Impression Obsession Birch Logs & Twigs die set. Look at this beautiful card that she designed. Here are a few details of all those glorious layers. She adhered everything down using Glue Dots Glue Lines. Perfect for those birch logs. The Merry Christmas sentiment is also an Impression Obsession die. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS! It’s a little piece of a winter wonderland! I am thinking that both the Merry Christmas AND the Birch Logs & Twigs die sets by Impression Obsession are a MUST HAVE! Thanks, Kerry! Kerry is a MORNING crafter! Every morning before she heads off to work she takes some time in her craft room. Once or twice a week she shares what she has been working on,  within the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Instagram Stories. Be sure…

Happy Tuesday! It’s me, Kim [instagram], back on the blog today with a scrapbooking layout inspired by Stampers Anonymous Pressed Foliage stamp set and our September Sketchy Challenge. Autumn is hands down my favourite time of the year. I love the colours, the crisp air and the cozy clothes that are all part of the season. However, as I sit here typing up my blog post, my world has been blanketed in frozen, white crystals of snow..NOT my favourite season! *sigh* At least I have documented the loveliness of autumn and can enjoy the memories through my photos. This season will bless my world again in 2020! My layout started as a simple white piece of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. This smooth, bright white, 130lb weight card stock is the PERFECT foundation for cards and layouts. Your inks will fall in love with this product! I randomly stamped different leaf…

Our design team has fallen in LOVE with the Beautiful Girls Stamp collection by Picket Fence Studios. This collection of stamps and coordinating dies are a celebration of strong, feminine, playful and beautiful women. From portraits of women snuggling up with a steamy mug to a profile image with gorgeous floral hair and our favorites, a variety of gals holding cameras capturing life’s little moments.  You need to check this line out! CLICK HERE Kerry Engel has been playing with her Beautiful Girls – Karen stamp and coordinating die. She colored the image using her Chameleon Color Tone pens. The Skin Tone collection of Chameleon Color Tone pens really does take the guesswork out of coloring faces! Kerry stuck everything down using Glue Dots Permanent Glue Squares. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

Hello! Kim here, sharing a cute, birthday card I’ve recently made! As I rummaged through my stash of previously made cards, I realized I was getting low on birthday cards! This will be a quick card to make multiples of, to have on hand! For this card, I have used my Art Impression’s Cupcake BFFs stamp. I stamped it to the left side of a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Superstock. My sentiment was stamped separately and cut with a circle punch. I colored the image with my NEW Chameleon Fineliner Pens, I adore them! Like their big sisters, the Chameleon Pens, the Fineliners can provide tonal, colour transitions like magic! Think how beautiful your journals and planners can be! Here, however I have coloured my image using dots and lines – it is such a FUN way to colour smaller images! I’ve added a narrow strip of patterned paper to…

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a quick scrapbook layout I put together using Glue Dots adhesives and Wild Whisper patterned paper.  My oldest son absolutely loved to read when he was growing up, and so the book-themed ‘Add a Chapter’ patterned paper line was perfect.  Wild Whisper is a Canadian company based in Calgary. I just cut strips of the patterned paper and stuck them all together with my Glue Dots adhesives – I used the permanent glue tape to adhere paper to paper, and permanent ultra-thin dots to attach the wood veneer gear shapes.  The wood shapes came from the dollar store, and I just painted them with Ranger black gesso to make inexpensive embellishments. I also tucked in an old dictionary page under the patterned paper.  If you have old dictionary’s laying around, be sure to check out the upcoming winter issue of Creative Scrapbooker magazine for…

Happy Tuesday everyone! Kerry Engel here today with a little project here today featuring the Candid Moments stamp set by Pink & Main. Tags have had an enduring appeal for me. I always have a stash on hand to attach to a gift or add to a scrapbook layout. As a camera nerd I’m always drawn to stamps that showcase my love of all things ”lens-y”, so of course I needed the “Candid Moments” stamp set from Pink & Main. The doodles incorporated on a “Candid Moments” stamps gives them a boho vibe. You can also purchase corresponding dies which helps to speed up your crafting. These camera stamps are not huge and I wanted to showcase the details so I tried something a little different. I normally stamp in black and then colour in the stamps but this time around I took a completely different path. I stepped outta…
