Kim here with my take on the February sketch. This is not my best work, but I had fun with this layout. I feel like I have been in a creative funk since January and am slowly coming off the couch back into my craft room! I am NOT a lover of winter and the darkness that comes with it! Working with a sunset picture seemed a good choice! I just let myself play and put ZERO pressure on the results. I added a thin layer of Dina Wakley Media Gesso to my CSM Superstock and then “messy” coloured my circles with Distress Crayons. Here is my take on our October Sketch featuring Magenta, Clearsnap, Sakura and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I was totally inspired by my beautiful friend Christy Riopel, who passed away on August 21. As I created this layout using her techniques and tips and tricks – I found a little bit of healing. Through the tears many many many wonderful memories emerged – thank you Christy for so much. I miss you like crazy.
