Hello everyone – Tracy McLennon here today! Are you a planner lover like I am? Even before decorative planners were “a thing” in the paper crafting world, I enjoyed keeping organized with a paper planner. I never went digital. I like to doodle and play with fonts, so I made ordinary planners my own over time. But now, look at all of the pretty things available at our fingertips to make our everyday lives just a little bit cuter. So I thought I would share what my planner pages look like before I begin the month. Over time I add little notes here and there, appointments, memories and to-do lists.Project Recipe: Simple Stories- Carpe Diem Collection: Planner, Epoxy Metal Clips, Washi Tape and Binder Rings Simple Stories- Domestic Bliss Collection: patterned paper, clear stickers, sticker sheets Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- EZ RunnerI love how the squares in the stickers sheets from…

Hello everyone! Leah O’Neil here with you today, continuing with my creative planning blog series where I show you the different ways I am using and decorating my Carpe Diem planners from Simple Stories! If you missed my last post about my wellness planner, you can check that out here! For this post, I am going to be showing you the planner I use for day-to-day planning and scheduling. For more about the setup of this planner, you can check out my most recent blog post with Simple Stories here. Today, I want to show you how I have decorated the front pockets of my Ivory Carpe Diem planner and how I have decorated my monthly calendar pages for May. I am using the Simple Stories Domestic Bliss and Home collections in this planner. The front pockets are set up with a mixture of die cuts, stickers, and a few cards…

Hello everyone! My name is Leah O’Neil I’m new here on the blog and am so excited to be here! I am on the Simple Stories Creative team and I’m going to be popping in a few times throughout 2017 to show you how I use and decorate my Carpe Diem planners to organize my life, to document the past and present, and to plan for the future. I truly have a love affair with paper products and accessories. The possibilities for what you can do with an empty planner are ENDLESS, which is probably why I have so many…I tend to collect them. I have lots of planners and I use several at a time. I typically have only one designated as an agenda, to plan out my days/weeks/months. The other planners I actively use all have different functions. The one I’m going to be giving you a peek…

I plan. I set goals. I have trackers and to do lists.  I have many journals and agendas.  I’ve even dabbled in digital; however, I always go back to pen and paper. I am goal oriented and when I saw the Stampin’ Up! December 2016 My Paper Pumpkin kit, I knew that I needed to use it to get a little more organized.  The holidays cause me to spin in a downward spiral where I don’t know what is coming or going in every aspect of my life.  By the time the holidays are over I am craving routine and organization. This kit has plenty of paper, transparencies, washi tape, a rotary stamp and a Stampin’ Up! write basic black marker. So what’s My Paper Pumpkin? It’s a monthly kit created by Stampin’ Up! that comes every month to your door. It has everything you need in order to…

Planning and Organizing Your Project Life Scrapbooks with Cathy Caines I am a chronological scrapbooker. I mix traditional layouts and pocket pages. I don’t like to scrapbook in “order”. I jump from date to date, month to month – whatever inspires me in the moment. So, how can I achieve this without feeling overwhelmed? Ah ha. My “In Progress” album. It is my planner of scrapbooks. The “In Progress” album is a system I developed for myself but I know there are other memory keepers like me out there… and you need my help. It is an album that holds all my incomplete pages (and some completed pages) until they are ready to move into their final albums. It kind of looks like this – lots of Post-its™! How does this work? Once a month, I go through the following process: Step 1: Delete any photos that are taking up…

The Simple Stories booth at CHA really inspires scrapbookers!Along with the continuing line of SN@P albums, the new Carpe Diem planners have been on trend and a huge hit. Carpe Diem also comes in a full new line of scrapbooking papers. There are 3 new Simple Sets: Heart, Hero and Hope. The 3 new full collections are just awesome.  “You Are Here” is a travel theme line of products. The “Let’s Party” collection is super bright and fun! “Life in Color” is perfect for scrapbooking everyday moments and has a neutral, happy colour palette suitable for all ages and occasions. The booth is also filled with wonderful displays! For more inspiration and information about products, please click HERE and visit the Simple Stories website and blog!

Planners are the RAGE!!  I myself have totally fallen in love with mine – there are so many different things you can do with them to adapt them to your everyday life – there are no right or wrong ways to use them. On the BoBunny blog I found this post from Irene Tan and fell in love with her take on the planner! She created it using the BoBunny Calendar Girl Collection.
