Welcome to Part 5 of a 10-part series calledΒ Where We Scrap, where our bloggers share their scrap space with you. Β This week, Jodi Wilton is sharing her space. Hi everyone! Today I am going to give you a glimpse of my small scrapbook room (or closet like room!)Β I am fortunate enough to have a space to myself, which wasnβt always the case! As my love for the hobby grew, so did my scrapbook supplies, and what was once an office, slowly turned into a complete scrappy space for me.Β The room is very small (7 X 8 feet at the most!) but I have tried to make the most of the space I have. I have literally occupied as much wall space that I can. If I knew that this was going to be a scrapbook space when I moved in, I think I would have painted it a…
Welcome to Part 4 of a 10-part series calledΒ Where We Scrap, where our bloggers share their scrap space with you. Β This week, Connie Nichol is sharing her space. I don’t have a fancy place to scrap but I am grateful to have my own little corner of the house to make a creative mess. When I started to scrapbook about 11 years ago after baby #2 was born, the only available spot in the house was in the basement next to the chest freezer. So, I put a table next to the freezer and worked on that. Of course over time the table filled up with ‘stuff’, so I used it more for storage and did my actual scrapbooking on top of the freezer. I vastly prefer to scrap standing up, especially when I am stamping, so this works perfectly except when somebody wants something from the freezer (“Mom, can…
Welcome to Part 3 of a 10-part series calledΒ Where We Scrap, where our bloggers share their scrap space with you. Β This week, Karen Ellis is sharing her space. Hi everyone! My Studio Space is not located in my home. I work and do all my designing (with the exception of a sketch book I keep in my purse) in my working studio in Cambridge – The Art House Studio. I love my studio!! Lots of windows and all decked out in my favourite colours – it couldn’t make me happier! I am currently at CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) Trade Show in California with fellow Canadian Scrapbooker peeps Cathie and Connie and co-founders Jackie and Katharina so I can’t take “right now” pics for ya BUT… here’s a little video I took of the studio when I moved into is this fall. You can view the video here: The Art…
Welcome to Part 2 of a 10-part series called Where We Scrap, where our bloggers share their scrap space with you. Β This week, Sue Sykes is sharing her space. Hello everyone!! Β Hope you had a wonderful holiday season! I’m excited to share my studio photos with you today. Β You see, we recently started renovating my studio. Β And by recently, I mean two years ago. Β Yep, it was certainly a LONG project, but I finally managed to get it done and put back together (with a few aesthetics touches to finish). The first thing we did was tear down the wall and install French doors. Β Like Jayme, I felt too isolated from my family when scrapping. Β My studio is off of our rec room downstairs – these French doors open all the way in so when I want to connect with my family, I can open them up! As you can…
ETA: Β So sorry for the delay, everyone! Β The holiday messed up my calendar – I thought TOMORROW was Tuesday! π Today, we’re starting a new blog series, called Where We Scrap. Β Over the next 10 weeks, our bloggers will share their scrapping spaces with you. Β With the new year, maybe you’ll find some ideas to help with your resolution of keeping your scrap space organized! π ~ Sue My Scrapbook Space by Jayme Loge Β Happy New Year Scrapbookers! I wish you health, happiness and love for 2013 :0) I am the lucky lady that gets to start off our new blog series on our scrapbook spaces.Β My space has been through many, many transformations and adaptations, but the current set up is one I love. It is right in the middle of our family room, and is a space I share with my daughterβs toys, and all our family activities.…
