Simple black and white cards make such a statement! Check out this card designed by Tracy McLennon that does just that. Tracy designed her card using the Pink & Main Roses Stamp Set along with their Coordinating Rose Die Set.  To create the background she used the Pink & Main Mod Stitched Rectangle Die Set.  And that splash of gold was created using Pink & Main Sparkle Gems. LOVE how this card turned out!!!!! Thanks for sharing Tracy! I recently REALLY started to play with all my watercolor stamp sets from Art Impressions (not just collecting  them – giggle giggle). AND WOW! The results are so fun and seriously so easy to create beautiful watercolor scenes. Here is a card I spotted on the Art Impressions blog designed by the very talented, Tricia O’Bin. How adorable s this design?!?!?!? I could jump right in this scene and enjoy a cup of java or two!!! Tricia used a variety of Art Impression watercolor stamp sets including the Wrought Iron Set and the Large Shops Set. She added all the beautiful colour with Tombow markers. Kim Gowdy was very buys this week creating spooky Halloween cards. One of her favourite things to do and you can tell! Check out this card she designed. How gorgeous! Kim designed the background using one of her gel mono prints she created using the Ranger Gel Printing Plate AND Ranger Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint. She stamped the Stampers Anonymous stamps on Deli Paper. Using Ranger Archival Ink. She then cut out the pumpkins and with hat and adhered them to the mono print using Ranger Dina Wakley Media Matte Gel Medium. Using Zebra Doodler’z Gel Glitter Pens she outlined all the stamped images. This made the images glitter! You can see it here. Next, for some more added fun Kim Added Tonic Studios Nuvo Glow Drops. When the lights turn off these little drops glow!  How fun is that! Finally Kim, used her Tonic Studios Tim Holtz Guillotine Cutter…

The Iconic Sara Stamp Set by Picket Fence Studios has me SWOONING! Wow!  I just love it. Here is a design featuring this stamp set I found over on the Picket Fence Studios blog designed by Sara Sherlock. So gorgeous!  Love the watercolours! Be sure to pop on over to their blog (CLICK HERE) for all the product details on how Sara created this card. Sara is the designer and Sara is the stamp name…I thought that was PERFECT! Happy Tuesday Friends!

My summer garden inspired the big floral explosion on this card. This was the first time I’ve used these watercolor stamps by Art Impressions. It was very addictive. Watching the bouquets come to life is magical.  Creating depth with a mask. To create the row of stamped pots I made a mask out of the pot and used it to create depth. The first pot I stamped was the third on from the left. After I stamped the middle pot I laid down the mask on top of it and then stamped a pot to the left, overlapping the image a bit. Then I put the mask down on that second pot and stamped the far left, over lapping again.  The pot on the far right was stamped last. Build a bouquet. Using the Art Impressions foliage and flower sets I created the bouquets inside my pots. Layering the branches…

I am Party Puffin obsessed!! Okay, okay, you caught me. Being from Newfoundland, Canada and puffins being our official bird and all, the second I saw the word “puffin” I said “Yes, please!” It’s just icing on the cake that these puffins are in a party mood. You are looking at one of the new products available in the newly released annual Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 catalogue (May 4th release date). This stamp set is called Party Puffins and I can’t get enough of it! I mean, look at that little fish wrapped up in a bow! Am I right? Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I got my hands on some of the new product available including the black and white paper you are seeing here from the Pattern Paper Designer Series Paper pack. This paper actually comes in a pack of 40 pages 12×12”. It has a little bit of…

This new collection of stamps and coordinating dies, called the Hats Off-Line, from Art Impressions is FABULOSA! The new collection has three sets of stamps that include the coordinating dies to make cutting the bits and pieces a breeze. The names of the sets are pretty easy to remember – Miss Set, Mrs. Set, and Mr. Set! PERFECTION! How adorable are all those HATS!!!! Here is a gorgeous little card I found over on the Art Impressions Facebook page created by Tasha Jorgensen. Tasha’s card features the Mrs. Set. LA LA LOVE IT! Pop on over the Art Impressions website for all the details! (PS- do you see those little face mask stamps?!?!?!?) Happy Monday Friends!

Using watercolor pencils and a waterbrush is the absolute easiest way to color detailed stamped images. Adding shading and highlights using this technique has never been easier! I like to use a fine tip waterbrush pen and I dip it in water rather than filling it up with water.  So really you could use a fine tip paintbrush instead! Here is the card I created. I am SERIOUSLY in love with this stamp set from Heartfelt Creations. Cottages are super trendy right now in the crafting world and this is one of my favourite designs. To create this card… Using the Heartfelt Creations Countryside Cottage stamp, stamp onto a piece of watercolor paper. I used Ranger Archival ink so that the ink doesn’t run when I add water. Stamp the image using a stamping platform.  Do not remove the stamp from the platform as you will re-stamp the image once…
