Hats Off Line from Art Impressions

This new collection of stamps and coordinating dies, called the Hats Off-Line, from Art Impressions is FABULOSA! The new collection has three sets of stamps that include the coordinating dies to make cutting the bits and pieces a breeze. The names of the sets are pretty easy to remember – Miss Set, Mrs. Set, and Mr. Set! PERFECTION! How adorable are all those HATS!!!! Here is a gorgeous little card I found over on the Art Impressions Facebook page created by Tasha Jorgensen. Tasha’s card features the Mrs. Set. LA LA LOVE IT! FastForward #48 – Coloring Detailed Stamped Images

Using watercolor pencils and a waterbrush is the absolute easiest way to color detailed stamped images. Adding shading and highlights using this technique has never been easier! I like to use a fine tip waterbrush pen and I dip it in water rather than filling it up with water. So really you could use a fine tip paintbrush instead! Here is the card I created. I am SERIOUSLY in love with this stamp set from Heartfelt Creations. Cottages are super trendy right now in the crafting world and this is one of my favourite designs. To create this card… Using the Heartfelt Creations Countryside Cottage stamp, stamp onto a piece of watercolor paper. I used Ranger Archival ink so that the ink doesn’t run when I add water. Stamp the image using a stamping platform. Do not remove the stamp from the platform as you will re-stamp the image once…

Cascading Wisteria and Gateway Dies by Heartfelt Creations with Tracy McLennon

Hello crafty friends! Tracy here and today I have a pretty little card to share today featuring Gateway Dies and the Cascading Wisteria collection from Heartfelt Creations. Here are all of the details. First I used my Heartfelt Creations Gateway dies to cut my layers from white and Luxe Gold Cardstock. To create my card base I folded a piece of white cardstock in half and die cut it using the largest die from the set, making sure to keep the card’s fold intact. I stamped and die cut all of the Wisteria images using Ranger Archival Ink- Coffee onto white cardstock, and added colour to the branches and flowers using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush. I added colour to the leaves using Ranger Distress Oxide Ink and Heartfelt Creations Stack and Store Daubers. I shaped all of the flowers and leaves slightly using my shaping tool and…

Cute Little Easter or Baby Tags with Stampers Anonymous

First off, I bought this stamp set from Stampers Anonymous awhile ago and just haven’t had the chance to play with it. I finally pulled it out the other night and started to design with it. I had a smile on my face the entire time. How adorable are those little guys? Am I right or what?! LOLOL! Great job Tim Holtz! I ended up creating a number of little tags that I love! Here are the basic steps to create the tags 1. Using a Scrapbook.com Nesting Tag die and reinforcement circle, cut out a tag from a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. 2. Place your tag in your stamp positioner along with the little bunny stamp. 3. Using a post-it note, cover up the sentiment on the bottom of the stamp so it doesn’t stamp on the tag. 4. What’s Your Scrapbook Style? I Mix It Up!

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Kim here! Have you ever thought about how you start a layout? Are you consistent or do you mix it up? I mix it up! Sometimes I love to start with a sketch or a particular photo may inspire me and sometimes I like to choose the product first. The project I’m sharing today was all about using my stash of Stampers Anonymous stamps! Please note…no patterned paper was harmed in the process! I pulled out a sheet of CSM Super Stock [primed with a thin layer of gesso] and brayered on some with some Distress Inks. I love the texture the brayer creates! I then removed some of the ink with a stencil and baby wipe.Next, I layered on some stamps of various patterns. This process of making a background is so fun and very relaxing. I am obsessed. You scream I scream, everybody wants ice cream! Stampin’ Up!’s new Ice Cream Corner Collection is adorable and I can’t stop playing with it! The collection comes with the Sweet Ice Cream stamp, Ice Cream Cone Builder punch, Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper, Blackberry Bliss ribbon, and the super sweet Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles. You can actually create projects with a stamp or simply use the images from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper as I have in the card below. I love this kind of versatility. It’s a bonus that the images look like watercoloured delicious-ness. Of course, you can also use the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set for a simple tag as can be shown here. Kalypso Time with Stampers Anonymous and Kerry Engel!

I am sooooo in the mood for a cocktail somewhere by the sea! LOLOLOL! So that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. Kerry Engel’s layout is the next best thing! Bright colours, yummy food, and one of my all-time favourite Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz stamp sets. If you don’t have the Cocktails Blueprint stamp set – you need to get it. Kerry also used a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Layering Stencil to create the design in the background. It makes the layout look like it’s sparkling! LOVE IT! Off I go to dream of a drink by the sea! Hello December. The holiday season seems to be extra special and extra hard all at the same time this year. For me, I am trying my very best to zone into the holiday spirit, counting all my blessings on the way. I am also trying to connect in a more intentional manner. As such, my Christmas card list has grown. Creating Christmas cards brings me joy so bring it on! “Wherever we wander, wherever we roam, at Christmas time our hearts come home.” I found this sentiment from a retired Stampin’ Up! stamp set called “Hearts Come Home” a couple of weeks ago when I was searching for something else. It seemed like a perfect sentiment this year and as such, I plan to use it in many of my cards this year. I really enjoyed the creative process of creating this card. Dashing Through the Snow with Cathy Caines

It’s happening. We are less than 8 weeks away. Never before have I been as excited for Christmas as I am this year. My family is supposed to be in Florida but of course, that’s not happening. We are hunkering down in Newfoundland to enjoy the holidays with friends and family. We are so lucky to have most of our family nearby and it breaks my heart to think about others that may not be with their family this year. With Halloween behind me, I am going full tilt into the holiday spirit including making Christmas cards! Stampin’ Up! released the Merry Moose bundle in the holiday catalogue last year. Since those majestic animals can be found in abundance in Newfoundland, they have a soft spot in my heart. With a short hiatus, he’s back in stock and I was ready to see if I could bring him back to…
