It’s been 5 weeks since the birth of my third child, Claire. It’s about this stage when you are craving some of your old routines. For me, that’s crafting. It can be incredibly hard to find that inspiration and get back into your creative self especially with limited time. It’s always nice to be pushed by challenges or to be inspired by someone else’s work. Keeping it simple has always been a great way for me to get my juices flowing. For this month’s project, I have used the By the Dock Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. You can find this bundle in their Occasions Catalogue. Living on the East Coast of Canada means that I am always pulled towards anything nautical so this stamp set and coordinating framelits are a must-have item. Oh Happy Day with Annette Allen

Hello everyone Annette Allen here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog with a cute little OH HAPPY DAY card featuring a variety of supplies by Pink & Main! Here is how I put it together : Make card from white cardstock (4.5×5.5) Lay your Pink & Main stencil directly on the card base and spray with Ranger Distress Oxide Spray. Set aside and let dry or use a heat gun to dry faster. Stamp images on white cardstock and color. Die cut colored images with coordinating dies. Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock. Trim around the sentiment. Die cut the Frame on white cardstock and spray with Ranger Distress Oxide Spray. Set aside and let dry or use a heat gun to dry faster. Adhere the dried frame on the card base. Using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares adhere the images in the center of the card.…

Hi Creative Scrapbooker Fans!!!! Pam Bray here sharing “Dream Big Dreams” Mixed Media Card featuring Wild Whisper A Girl With Flair Watercolor patterned paper and Emerald Creek Craft Supplies Rock Candy Embossing Powder. Creating the background paper for this mixed media card is super easy using a Gelli Art Press Printing Press, DecoArt Paint, and brayer. 1. Begin by applying Titanium paint to the top of the Gel Printing Press; move around with brayer. Add a bit of paint here and there to achieve the colors on the press you like. 2. Press white cardstock to the top; pull off and set to one side. Repeat with a clean piece of cardstock. 3. Stamp background collage stamp to top of the prepared paper using Titanium White and Cadmium Red to the top. 4. Stamp here and there. Adhere prepared paper to Wild Whisper Watercolor Paper to green cardstock. Adhere…

Kim here with a fun project share using the Stampers Anonymous Merry Misfits stamps! Oh, how I LOVE these little guys! They are PERFECT for Christmas tags! The Misfits just make me smile and take a little stress out of the chaos of Christmas! Along with the Misfit stamps, I also used Ranger’s Simon Hurley Classic Flannel stamp, Distress Oxide Inks and a Shifter stencil! These products ALL play so well together! Gnome Stamps for Christmas by Impression Obsession

Gnomes are HOT this holiday season! And they should be – they are smile makers! Kerry Engel was busy in her craft room playing with some Gnome themed stamps by Impression Obsession. Let’s Shake Our Tail Feathers Stamp Set by Picket Fence Studios

Design team member Kim Gowdy had some serious fun playing with the Let’s Shake Our Tail Feathers stamp set by Picket Fence Studios! Check out this GORGEOUS card she designed. Here is the Let’s Shake Our Tail Feathers stamp set by Picket Fence Studios that she used. She paired that set with the Picket Fence Studios The Hen House stamp set and coordinating die. That chicken makes a perfect peacock! Kim used Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks to color the card. The ink was applied using Picket Fence Studios The Life Changing Blender Brushes. Everything on Kim’s card was adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L including 3D Foam Square to pop up the peacock! Here is another look. It’s Friday night! A perfect time to “shake those feathers”.

This is my six-year-old son Jack. He absolutely loves dinosaurs. So, when we went on vacation to Florida a couple of weeks ago we were sure to check out Dinosaur World. Dinosaur World did not disappoint. It was clean and quiet. It had a perfect balance of something for the tiniest littles to the adults. And let’s get serious here – dinosaurs are cool no matter what your age. So, when Stampin’ Up! released the Dinoroar Product Suite, it was a must-buy for me. I just didn’t realize it was going to come in handy so quickly. Like a handful of others, Stampin’ Up! has made life easy for you by having sweet images on their Dinoroar Designer Series Paper that can be cut out using their Dino Days framelits rather than only the stamps. Cute Chicken Cards – featuring Picket Fence Studios and Therm O Web Deco Foil

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a couple of cards featuring the One Hot Chick stamp set from Picket Fence Studios together with beautiful foiled backgrounds created with Therm O Web Deco Foil. Picket Fence Studios has some seriously cute stamp sets. Be sure to go check them out. One of the cutest is the One Hot Chick stamp set, which also happens to have a matching die set, making it easy to create a whole flock of chickens. I stamped a whole bunch of birds and coloured them with Kelly Creates pens. The card backgrounds were created with Therm O Web Deco Foil Products. A touch of foil makes any card look extra special! The top ‘cluck it’ card uses a Foil-Mates card which has been pre-printed with foilable elements. Perhaps you are the co-worker that brings treats for the adults in your office or the awesome mom that brings the coolest treats for all the Brownies? Sometimes I am and sometimes I am not. It always depends on how much time I have. This year Stampin’ Up! is making it pretty easy for me (and you) to bang out several of these treats in plenty of time before Halloween. Check out these coffin boxes by Stampin’ Up! I mean… how fun are these? To create my Halloween coffins, I had limited product to use. Using elements from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper for the inside and outside of the coffin, I was able to make the coffins come to life.
