Hi everyone!ย  Pam here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Blog sharing my a few simple but fun pre-made party favor boxes! I am sure that everyone will have a party to either host or attend this year! Pre-made plain party favor boxes can be found just about anywhere…at your local craft store, department store, discount store, etc and in many different shapes and sizes.ย  They are super easy to emboss using your favorite white embossing powder and colored with your favorite colored inks along with your favorite stamps! (I used Colorbox products to create my boxes.) Stamp background images on premade boxes using Clear Embossing Ink. Apply White Embossing Powder; heat set with an embossing gun.ย  Apply ColorBox Blends 2 Tutu Ink to one of the embossed boxes and ColorBox Blends 2 Bay Ink to the other using the blending tool.ย  (HINT: Leave boxes flat when doing this step.)…

Happy Summer everyone, Cathy Caines here today playing with the Wildly Happy Cling stamp set by Stampin’ Up! It seems that I have some news to share! My family and I are so excited to announce to the world that we are growing our family with baby number three coming soon in January! With baby on my mind, I thought it would be nice to create a project with one of my favourite stamp sets in the Stampinโ€™ Up! 2019-20 Annual Catalogue called the Wildly Happy Cling Stamp.ย  I always love stamp sets where I can make โ€œsetsโ€ of cards. With four images and plenty of sentiments, this stamp set can help you create four cards. Typically, when I create card sets, I tend to stay true to a similar design. In this project, I created two styles with two cards each.ย  For both sets, I layered the images on…

Hello everyone! Cathy Caines here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog playing with the Come Sail Away With Me collection by Stampin’ Up! I am so happy to be back here this month showing you what I love from Stampinโ€™ Up! For the past couple months, I have been busy creating memories rather than documenting them. Iโ€™ve been adventuring from one coast to another and itโ€™s time now for me to begin getting these stories told. Today, I was inspired by the Come Sail Away With Me Memories and More cards (Click Here) and corresponding Designer Series Paper. (CLICK HERE) It didnโ€™t take long for me to capture the memories of me hiking to see the Heceta Lighthouse on the West Coast. โ€œI donโ€™t know why I didnโ€™t ask any of the other ladies to join me but off I went to the Oregon Coastline to see the Pacific…

Happy Tuesday everyone! Kerry Engel here today with a little project here today featuring the Candid Moments stamp set by Pink & Main. Tags have had an enduring appeal for me. I always have a stash on hand to attach to a gift or add to a scrapbook layout. As a camera nerd Iโ€™m always drawn to stamps that showcase my love of all things โ€lens-yโ€, so of course I needed the โ€œCandid Momentsโ€ stamp set from Pink & Main. The doodles incorporated on a โ€œCandid Momentsโ€ stamps gives them a boho vibe. You can also purchase corresponding dies which helps to speed up your crafting. These camera stamps are not huge and I wanted to showcase the details so I tried something a little different. I normally stamp in black and then colour in the stamps but this time around I took a completely different path. I stepped outta…

Hi, Connie Nichol here this morning with a couple of projects that recycle sewing patterns.ย  If you’ve seen the Summer Issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, you’ll know I wrote a whole article on this topic.ย  Be sure to grab the magazine if you want a whole bunch of other ideas.ย  ย Among other things, the patterned tissue paper from old sewing patterns makes a great background for cards and scrapbook layouts. Here’s one of the cards I made.ย  Quick and simple and I think a perfect masculine birthday card.ย  Adhere a layer of a recycled sewing pattern to a piece of white cardstock using gel medium.ย  A gel medium is simply a binder without pigment that comes in various thicknesses, sheens, and transparencies.ย  I like the Dina Wakely matte gel medium from Ranger.ย  ย Just use a sponge brush or paint brush to apply gel medium to the base layer of cardstock…

Campfire season is upon us! Truly, my favourite time of the year. Today on the blog I decided to THROWBACK to the Summer 2015 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine where Kim Gowdy designed a gorgeous little Marshmallow Roast Party Invitation using one of my all-time favourite products – a campfire stamp by Impression Obsession. One of the things I absolutely adore about Impression Obsession is that their stamps STAY ALIVE for a long time. So if you love this stamp as much as I do ….it is still available for purchase! CLICK HERE!ย  LOVE IT! Check out this gorgeous little bundle of summer LOVE! Kim stamped the campfire stamp using Clearsnap ColorBox Archival ink. She then colored the image in using Chameleon Color Tone Pens. This card is so stinking cute! I just might have to have a Marshmallow Roast Party just so I can totally copy this invitation. Giggle…

Hello everyone, Laura Weed, from Stampendous here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Today we are celebrating Laurel Burch stamp products. At Stampendous it has been an honour and a privilege to hold the license for Laurel Burch stamp products for the last several years. Laurel’s whimsical and fun creatures have brought so many smiles to the Stampendous staff and customers, we are thrilled to share them with you. Laurel Burch began her journey by developing a unique style for her signature jewelry designs and folk-art paintings. She is best known for her use of vibrant, magical colors and her celebration of our connection with the Earth and all living things. ย Laurel’s terrific images of cats are probably her best known, and Stampendous has turned many of them into rubber stamps for making cards, home decor, and more. Many of the Cling Rubber Stamp Sets, like these Indigo Cats,…
