Happy Sunday everyone! Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog creating a shiny SHAKER card. I’m still relatively new to stamping and card making. I tend to go all in and try to use as many products as I can. Thankfully, Therm O Web understands and always has amazing corresponding products that feed my need for “lots of details”. Their Gina K. Designs Premium cardstock has been a game-changer for me; it’s smooth, high-quality finish has helped to elevate my stamping and embossing…and then they have foil – how did I ever create without foil before? There’s a new baby joining my family! Hey crafters, Nicole Wright here and no it’s not me! My great nephew will be here in a couple months and I needed a card STAT for the baby shower. Let me set the scene… I need a quick card because I have left it to the last minute. My Brother Scan N’ Cut2 is perfect for making this quick card in just 15 minutes. I whipped through the cuts and went straight for the animals. I mean you can’t go wrong with a giraffe. I select the cuts and adjust my size to fit my standard card. Hey crafty friends, Tracy McLennon here and today I have a funky and fun layout to share featuring the Ranger Dylusions Flight of Fancy stamps along with my Chameleon Color Tone Pens. Here are all of the nitty-gritty details. First create your layered cardstock background. The kraft cardstock is 10.75×10.75 and matted in white cardstock that is 11×11. I cut 8 pieces of black burlap string and tied a knot on one side and adhered it in behind these two layers of cardstock. Then adhered it to a full sheet of black cardstock. Spirited Snowmen by Stampin’ Up! with Cathy Caines

Happy November Friends! How sweet are these little snowmen? It won’t be long before I am making snowmen in my backyard with my little ones. The Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! is the perfect stamp set if you are looking to create a set of cards. It has a great combination of images and sentiments. But best of all… is that it’s simply super cute. Stampin‘ Up! has a Snowflake Snowcase during the month of November and these Snowfall Thinlet Dies are part of this suite. It features 19 dies with snowflakes ranging from small to big; however, my favourite has to be the large size snowflake. How gorgeous is that? Hello everyone, Cathie Allan here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Welcome to my “spooky”, “get your Great Pumpkin, belief on”, Happy Halloween blog post! I truly had some “outrageous inky fun” creating this fun card with some new techniques that I have been playing with. These are not meant to scare you … these techniques are easy, fun and so “freaky” versatile, from the fun new way I am creating the background using my Clearsnap ColorBox inks … to the “foilicious” way I played with my pumpkin die cuts… to the “spooky/sparkly, embossed” fun of the finished look of my Impression Obsession, Happy Halloween, die. 49 and Market with Karan Gerber

Hello Friends and welcome to the Creative Scrapbooker Blog. Its Karan Gerber here to inspire you today and I have a card I designed using the papers, archival board, flowers and stamps from 49 and MarketThe papers are from the new Island Paradise Collection and the flowers are the Cotton Blends. So to start with, I cut two papers from the collection. One measuring 5.5 x 7.5 and the second, 5×7. I wanted to make sure there was enough contrast between the two, so the top one is a bit darker than the bottom mat. The second step was I used some Stamps from 49 and Market, first set being Pascale’s Grammar Stamp and the second was Pascale’s Formula. For the second step: stamp the background very randomly using the Grammar set of stamps using Ranger Black Archival InkI then used weather wood distress ink from Ranger and used the Formula…

Whoot Stamp Collection by Art Impressions

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! My name is Jayme Loge and I hope you enjoy this little blog offering for your inspiration. Because let me tell you, my oh my! did I have fun playing with these adorable Whoot stamp collection from Art Impressions! I just love their squeezable, squishable big-eyed faces! They are simple enough cards, but a lot of work goes into coloring or painting the images and I just didn’t want to get in the way of their whooty cuteness! The first card I made features a simple stenciled background (Tim Holtz stencils). I used a sponge applicator and Dylusions paint over a page torn out from an old book.
