Happy Sunday everyone! Kerry EngelΒ here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog creating a shiny SHAKER card. I’m still relatively new to stamping and card making. I tend to go all in and try to use as many products as I can. Thankfully, Therm O Web understands and always has amazing corresponding products that feed my need for β€œlots of details”.Β  Their Gina K. Designs Premium cardstock has been a game-changer for me; it’s smooth, high-quality finish has helped to elevate my stamping and embossing…and then they have foil – how did I ever create without foil before? Here is how I created this very happy, shiny shaker card: Step 1- STAMP Stamp the sentiment, β€œThanks Snow Much”. Stamp and emboss snowflakes with Gina K.Β DesignsΒ Baby, it’s Cold Outside stamps. I used Clearsnap, Top Boss, ink and silver embossing powder. Step 2 – FOIL Using a laminator add Gina K. Designs…

#hellodecember Isn’t is sneaky how December creeps up on you like that? You think it’s so far away and then the first of December is here and you are already feeling like you have dropped the ball on finding matching family pajamas and getting photos in time for the Black Friday sales! Well, my friends – I am here to tell you that you are not alone. However, I am beginning to embrace the frantic. So, here I come December!! Away we go! As always, the holiday season means I am in my craft room creating projects from tags to cards to mini scrapbooks. Today’s project is a card along with a gift for a special someone. I created this card by starting out with the Wood Texture Paper Stack from Stampin’ Up! I am really enjoying the plaids and wooden elements in the dΓ©cor aisles so I wanted to…

There’s a new baby joining my family!Β  Hey crafters, Nicole Wright here and no it’s not me!Β  My great nephew will be here in a couple months and I needed a card STAT for the baby shower.Β  Let me set the scene… I need a quick card because I have left it to the last minute.Β  MyΒ Brother Scan N’ Cut2 is perfect for making this quick card in just 15 minutes.Β  I whipped through the cuts and went straight for the animals.Β  I mean you can’t go wrong with a giraffe.Β  I select the cuts and adjust my size to fit my standard card.Β  Load my scrap paper onto the cut mat… in the middle because it’s sticky there.Β I cut the words in both patterned paper and black to create a shadow.Β  Why not… I’m already cutting right.Β  Then I do the same with the giraffe.Β  I cut the patterned…

Hey crafty friends, Tracy McLennon here and today I have a funky and fun layout to share featuring the Ranger Dylusions Flight of Fancy stamps along with my Chameleon Color Tone Pens. Here are all of the nitty-gritty details.Β First create your layered cardstock background. The kraft cardstock is 10.75×10.75 and matted in white cardstock that is 11×11. I cut 8 pieces of black burlap string and tied a knot on one side and adhered it in behind these two layers of cardstock. Then adhered it to a full sheet of black cardstock.Β Project Recipe: Ranger- Dylusions Flight of Fancy Stamps and Archival Jet Black In Chameleon Pens- BG4 Aquamarine, GR4 Evergreen, BL3 Sky Blue, YG3 Spring Meadow, BL6 Royal Blue, GR1 Green Apple Chameleon Color Tops- BL7 Indigo Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Creative Photo Corners Black, E-Z Runner Grand, 3D Foam Squares White Mix, Adhesive Dots-Medium, E-Z Runner Ultra Cardstock- Kraft,…

Happy November Friends! How sweet are these little snowmen? It won’t be long before I am making snowmen in my backyard with my little ones. The Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! is the perfect stamp set if you are looking to create a set of cards. It has a great combination of images and sentiments. But best of all… is that it’s simply super cute.Β  Stampinβ€˜ Up! has a Snowflake Snowcase during the month of November and these Snowfall Thinlet Dies are part of this suite. It features 19 dies with snowflakes ranging from small to big; however, my favourite has to be the large size snowflake. How gorgeous is that?Β  These snowflakes are perfectly paired with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. This embossing folder gives the illusion of snow falling onto the ground. You can catch me using this snowflake and embossing folder combination throughout the whole…

Β These are not meant to scare you … these techniques are easy, fun and so β€œfreaky” versatile, from the fun new way I am creating the background using my Clearsnap ColorBox inks … to the β€œfoilicious” way I played with my pumpkin die cuts… to the β€œspooky/sparkly, embossed” fun of the finished look of my Impression Obsession, Happy Halloween, die.Β  I am going to keep you in suspense though. Today is a sharing day …. but in my upcoming articles and webisodes for Creative Scrapbooker we will be stepping out these fun, fabulous and unique techniques. Β So stay tunedΒ  …. and fear not…

Hello Friends and welcome to the Creative Scrapbooker Blog. Its Karan Gerber here to inspire you today and I have a card I designed using the papers, archival board, flowers and stamps fromΒ 49 and MarketThe papers are from the new Island Paradise Collection and the flowers are the Cotton Blends. So to start with, I cut two papers from the collection.Β  One measuring 5.5 x 7.5 and the second, 5×7.Β  I wanted to make sure there was enough contrast between the two, so the top one is a bit darker than the bottom mat. The second step was I used some Stamps from 49 and Market, first set being Pascale’s Grammar Stamp and the second was Pascale’s Formula. For the second step: stamp the background very randomly using the Grammar set of stamps using Ranger Black Archival InkI then used weather wood distress ink from Ranger and used the Formula…

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! My name is Jayme Loge and I hope you enjoy this little blog offering for your inspiration.Β  Because let me tell you, my oh my! did I have fun playing with these adorable Whoot stamp collection from Art Impressions! I just love their squeezable, squishable big-eyed faces! They are simple enough cards, but a lot of work goes into coloring or painting the images and I just didn’t want to get in the way of their whooty cuteness! The first card I made features a simple stenciled background (Tim Holtz stencils). I used a sponge applicator and Dylusions paint over a page torn out from an old book. I totally geek out over using book pages any time I can! I colored the stamped image with Chameleon markers and assembled everything on a Kraft cardstock. The next card features a row of water colored Whoot with a…
