Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here with one sketch – three different projects. This is a good sketch for a big or dominant photo that really tells your story. The curvy diagonal lines create movement and energy. Supplies: Creative Memories Cap and Gown Collection, Clearsnap ColorBox ink and embossing powder, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Stampin’ Up! gold thread, Studio Calico brad. An old Colleague of mine posted her graduation photos on Facebook one day and I instantly had an urge to scrap them. The Cap and Gown collection from Creative Memories has several “2107” embellishments but it’s really a versatile collection. The colors work really well with vintage photos. I glammed it up a bit with gold embossing powder and shiny brads and thread. The papers held up well to mix media techniques. And the coordinating album is a really classy. Check out this gorgeous layout designed by Kerry Engel featuring Clearsnap ColorBox ink! SUPPLIES: Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock, Bazzill Basics Paper and Studio Calico patterned paper, Studio Calico twine and ink, Clearsnap ColorBox pigment ink and re-inkers, American Crafts Thickers, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Kerry created the paint strips, flowers and leaves using Clearsnap ColorBox re-inkers as paint! The entire layout is stuck together using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Project Life with Guest Blogger Marcy Penner

Today on our blog, we welcome Marcy Penner, who is sharing her scrapbooking process with Project Life. Hi everyone. I’m honoured to be sharing one of my Project Life spreads with you all today. This is my fourth year using pocket pages in my scrapbooking, and I’m still loving it. It’s a little bit of a visual diary and encompasses all kinds of little details and memorabilia that don’t make it onto my regular layouts. This year I tackled a 9×12” size and snuck a 6×8” Handbook size in during the summer months. I’m excited to carry on with this project next year as well.
