Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here with one sketch – three different projects. This is a good sketch for a big or dominant photo that really tells your story. The curvy diagonal lines create movement and energy.
Supplies: Creative Memories Cap and Gown Collection, Clearsnap ColorBox ink and embossing powder, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Stampin’ Up! gold thread, Studio Calico brad.
An old Colleague of mine posted her graduation photos on Facebook one day and I instantly had an urge to scrap them. The Cap and Gown collection from Creative Memories has several “2107” embellishments but it’s really a versatile collection. The colors work really well with vintage photos. I glammed it up a bit with gold embossing powder and shiny brads and thread. The papers held up well to mix media techniques. And the coordinating album is a really classy.
Supplies: Donna Salazar for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Denim Art Journal and adhesives, Impression Obsession stamp, Irresistible Pico Embellisher, Art Extra, Black Sand Texture , Pentart for BoBunny Iron Paste, Prima flowers, dried up tea bag, stamps, Ranger Gesso Collage medium, clear Gesso, Distress oxides and Distress crayons, Southern Ridge Trading Co. die cut, Liquitex ink, Stampin’ Up! dies.
This has to be one of my most “mixed”- mixed media projects I’ve ever done. Once again I used the Donna Salazar for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Denim Art Journal as my base. The kraft color is very inspirational for me. The centerpiece is the Southern Ridge Trading Co. chipboard window, it’s covered in Pentart for BoBunny Iron Paste. It really “Bangs! The flowers were ripped apart Prima flowers. The background is a little bit of everything else.
Supplies: Echo Park Happily ever after collection, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Clearsnap ColorBox ink.
I took the basic concept of the block design and just extended it across the card. Inking the edges and rubbing perfect pearls on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Dots. A quick and easy card to make.
