Hello, Connie Nichol here today with an easy birthday card made from an Art Impressions stamp and die set.ย ย Art Impressions has a huge selection of different interactive stamp sets which need to be pulled, unfolded, twisted, spun or shaken.ย Go check them out. The designs will be sure to bring a big smile to your face.ย ย Who doesn’t love to get a card that flutters or wobbles? I played with the Birthday Fairy set to create a couple of cards – the set comes with the stamps, dies and an action ‘wobble’.ย You can see from the side photo that the fairy’s skirt is dimensional and mobile.ย Here’s another slightly different version of the Birthday Fairy card in royal blue. Here’s the stamp set: I stamped the fairy and her skirt with Clearsnap Top Boss ink and embossed with black embossing powder.ย I find that embossing an image…
Jayme Loge here on this lovely Tuesday in April.ย Iโm going to confess right off the top that spring has never been my favourite season. Itโs wet, and windy and muddy and grey. But this year, with our record breaking, never ending winter I am craving spring like never before.ย Bring on the melt! Bring on the mud! Bring on the drab, dusty landscape! Bring on anything but snow for my eyes to see! As a scrapbooker, I can make these wishes come true. I escaped to my scrapbook area and dug out some favourite spring photos. Although it is too soon yet for gardening, it is one of the rituals that I love about the season. I come from a long line of gardeners, and remember many a spring day planting and hoeing and planning with my extended family. My grandparents had the most astounding gardens and I am…
Happy Tuesday everyone! Is the sun shining in your neck of the woods and possibly sending a spring vibe to your world? Itโs Kim here with a Tuesday With the Team layout share! My layout is NOT very springy but since we are officially still in winter, here I go! I used our January Sketchy Challenge as a starting point for my layout. Rotating it to the left seemed to work best for me. I was thrilled to pull out my Carta Bella โCabin Feverโ collection!ย From the first time I set my eyes on this collection I LOVED IT. It definitely gives off a cozy, winter vibe and was perfect for the photos I wanted to share. This collection has the sweetest accent elements in chipboard, stickers and journal cards [12×12 sheet].I love how my completed layout came together so quickly with this sketch a paper collection. Donโt be…
Hello everyone Jayme Loge here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I am now the mother of a fourteen-year-old girl. She is feisty and brilliant and amazing and she is going to do wonderful things in this world. She is evolving before my eyes and it is exciting to see her discover her strengths, make mistakes and make choices about whom she is going to be. Itโs lovely, and completely unbalancing. Some days she changes faster than I can keep up with and then when I think I can stretch no further, she relaxes and cocoons herself in the safety of home. I take a break from this dance by looking back at old photos and remembering all the little details of who she is and where she has come from. Itโs funny the traits that donโt change. Her hands-on approach is one of them. She loved wearing โtwirlyโ…
Hello everyone โ Cathie Allan here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog playing with the Sunset pigment ink petal point collection from Clearsnap. Events โฆ. I love events. I love watching everyone get together as friends to enjoy their hobbies, their passions. At a scrapbooking/papercrafting event the sharing of ideas is amazing. From the moment they unpack their tools and toys, sit down and begin creating the sharing begins. Everyone learns from each other and then there is the classes, the demos, the makeโn takes that you can participate in to further the creative experience of the event at the Winnipeg, โScrapchicksโ gone wild event, I taught two classes and did a makeโn take in the booth where I taught a fun background technique and they created a Christmas tag using that technique. As I teach, I create with them so I ended up with a โpileโ of tags…

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a ย layout that features some adorably funny Art Impressions stamps. ย These stamps always brings a huge smile to my face. ย Although I’m sure they are most often used to make cards, why not use them to embellish a scrapbook layout? ย I had the perfect photograph to go with a stamp of three friends drinking wine! Stamps Used Here’s the Art Impressions stamp sets I used. ย I had two sets of funny wine stamps in my stash and I wanted to use them both. ย I stamped and coloured the ladies from the Girlfriends set with markers, then stamped some of the funny wine expressions, cutting each of them out and backing with black cardstock. Paper Products Used The paper and stickers I used are from the Be Happy 12 x 12 paper pad from Paper House Productions. ย Such beautiful patterns and these soft pink and…

Hello CSM scrapbookers! Kim here, thanks for dropping by the blog to see what I have been up to! Last September; my hubby and I went to Scotland for a wonderful, two-week holiday. I am still in the process of culling through pictures and scrapbooking some of our adventures. The layout I am sharing today uses the gorgeous โtransatlantic TRAVELโ collection by Carta Bella. The paper is such beautiful quality and the collection lent itself well to a travel location so rich in history and wellโฆacross the Atlantic Ocean! My layout uses patterned paper, journal cards [cut from a 12×12 sheet], stickers and a quote border all from the same collection. I have added a journaling insert behind the photo mat; this also allows an extra photo to be placed on the back of my journaling. I added a touch of water colour to the part of the map [Scotland/England]…
