Art Impressions Birthday Fairy Card

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with an easy birthday card made from an Art Impressions stamp and die set. Art Impressions has a huge selection of different interactive stamp sets which need to be pulled, unfolded, twisted, spun or shaken. Go check them out. The designs will be sure to bring a big smile to your face. Who doesn’t love to get a card that flutters or wobbles? I played with the Birthday Fairy set to create a couple of cards – the set comes with the stamps, dies and an action ‘wobble’. You can see from the side photo that the fairy’s skirt is dimensional and mobile. Here’s another slightly different version of the Birthday Fairy card in royal blue. Jayme Loge here on this lovely Tuesday in April. I’m going to confess right off the top that spring has never been my favourite season. It’s wet, and windy and muddy and grey. But this year, with our record breaking, never ending winter I am craving spring like never before. Bring on the melt! Bring on the mud! Bring on the drab, dusty landscape! Bring on anything but snow for my eyes to see! As a scrapbooker, I can make these wishes come true. I escaped to my scrapbook area and dug out some favourite spring photos. Happy Tuesday everyone! Is the sun shining in your neck of the woods and possibly sending a spring vibe to your world? It’s Kim here with a Tuesday With the Team layout share! My layout is NOT very springy but since we are officially still in winter, here I go! I used our January Sketchy Challenge as a starting point for my layout. Rotating it to the left seemed to work best for me. I was thrilled to pull out my Carta Bella ‘Cabin Fever’ collection! From the first time I set my eyes on this collection I LOVED IT. Hello everyone Jayme Loge here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I am now the mother of a fourteen-year-old girl. She is feisty and brilliant and amazing and she is going to do wonderful things in this world. She is evolving before my eyes and it is exciting to see her discover her strengths, make mistakes and make choices about whom she is going to be. It’s lovely, and completely unbalancing. Some days she changes faster than I can keep up with and then when I think I can stretch no further, she relaxes and cocoons herself in the safety of home. I take a break from this dance by looking back at old photos and remembering all the little details of who she is and where she has come from. It’s funny the traits that don’t change. I love watching everyone get together as friends to enjoy their hobbies, their passions. At a scrapbooking/papercrafting event the sharing of ideas is amazing. From the moment they unpack their tools and toys, sit down and begin creating the sharing begins. Everyone learns from each other and then there is the classes, the demos, the make’n takes that you can participate in to further the creative experience of the event at the Winnipeg, “Scrapchicks” gone wild event, I taught two classes and did a make’n take in the booth where I taught a fun background technique and they created a Christmas tag using that technique. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans- Katelyn Grosart here today! I hope that you’re having a fantastic last few weeks of the summer holidays! By using the Weekend Adventures Collection from Bo Bunny, some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, a couple of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs as well as a few products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create my Hello Weekend & We All Scream For Ice Cream Note Cards. You’ll want to grab your favourite summer beverage as I will show you below how to recreate these note cards in the comfort of your own home. To start, we’ll create the “Hello Weekend” note card. Using Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, cut a piece that measures 4” x 8”. Score the piece of cardstock at 4”. Scrapbooking with Art Impression Stamps

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a layout that features some adorably funny Art Impressions stamps. These stamps always brings a huge smile to my face. Although I’m sure they are most often used to make cards, why not use them to embellish a scrapbook layout? I had the perfect photograph to go with a stamp of three friends drinking wine! Stamps Used Here’s the Art Impressions stamp sets I used. I had two sets of funny wine stamps in my stash and I wanted to use them both. I stamped and coloured the ladies from the Girlfriends set with markers, then stamped some of the funny wine expressions, cutting each of them out and backing with black cardstock. Hello CSM scrapbookers! Kim here, thanks for dropping by the blog to see what I have been up to! Last September; my hubby and I went to Scotland for a wonderful, two-week holiday. I am still in the process of culling through pictures and scrapbooking some of our adventures. The layout I am sharing today uses the gorgeous “transatlantic TRAVEL” collection by Carta Bella. The paper is such beautiful quality and the collection lent itself well to a travel location so rich in history and well…across the Atlantic Ocean!
