Hello everyone – Karen Ellis here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I’ve been getting ready to attend ScrapFest / CreativFestival this weekend in Toronto with the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine and thought I’d share a sneak peek of something that I will be doing with the event participants on the show floor – making our own washi tape with Ranger Paints and Gel Press Plates. We’ll be creating the washi tape for this layout project that I’ll be teaching in the Interactive Studio at the show. I’ve been married for almost 30 years, have two wonderful young adult children and two wild rambunctious puppies!! They all keep my life interesting and full of laughs. I’ve been scrapbooking for as long as I can remember, even back in the days when there was just paper, scissors and a few stickers. It’s amazing to see how the industry has grown. I love to do layouts, cards, altered projects and have recently started playing with some mixed media, art journaling and making my own digital cutting files. I’ve been blessed to be part of the BoBunny Design Team for the past two years and several others teams as well. I love meeting scrapbookers…
