One of my favourite things is truly a scrapbook layout about anything CANADIAN! I sincerely have a soft spot for this beautiful country I call home. Over the next few weeks I will be highlighting some layouts our design team created about their hometowns! I LOVE THEM ALL (Yep the layouts and the wonderful girls on my team)!
Meet Desiree Saskiw
Desiree has been apart of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine for approximately 1 year as one of our Guest Designers! She does beautiful work that is always so well thought out and unique to all our page calls. We LOVE Desiree’s creativitiy! THANK YOU Desiree for sharing your work with us!
Here is Desiree’s take on our page call “My Hometown”. It is about the small little block she lives on in Two Hills, Alberta. Lucky gal to have such GREAT neighbors!
SUPPLIES: Heartfelt Creations patterned paper, Prima Marketing vintage trinkets, Karen Foster Design brads, American Crafts chipboard alphabet, Scrappin’ gear metallic markers, Xyron Create-A-Sticker, K & Company smash pen.
The product focus on Desiree’s layout is a fabulous collection of patterned paper from Heartfelt Creations – called Celebrate the Journey! This collection has coordinating stamps and dies. I think it might be one of my favourite collections from Heartfelt! I think – LOL!
And she stuck all those difficult to glue down parts using the Xyron Create-A-Sticker!
I would love to see a layout about your Hometown!
Share it with me for a chance to be published on our blog or in an upcoming issue of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. Send your submissions directly to me Jackie@canadianscrapbooker.ca
PS – YES – we will accept all HOMETOWNS from all over the WORLD!
Happy Scrappin everyone!
