Hello everyone! Kerry Engel here today on the Creative ScrapbookerMagazine blog playing with a FABULOUS new product by Therm O Web Deco Foil – Flock Transfer Sheets. I have fallen in love! Velvet, suede-like surfaces are now so easy to create using Therm O Web Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets; it’s easy and mess-free. There are 8 different colors of flocking  to choose from. Flocking adds a whole new dimension and character to your paper crafting projects. It adds texture and texture therapy is why I scrapbook. You can cut the Flock Transfer Sheets into shapes or you can transfer the flocking to cardstock using Transfer Gel. I applied a layer of Transfer Gel through a Clearsnap ColorBox Art Screen – this one is called ‘jumbled’. It will take an hour or so to dry. Lay the Flock Transfer Sheet fuzzy side down on the dried paste. Place the two…

Hello! Kim here again today! Happy June and official countdown to summer! Did you notice that our June Sketchy Challenge was revealed? I LOVE these monthly sketches, though I rarely do not get to them until a month or two later, but THAT my friends is perfectly OK! The thing is…sketches do not expire! They will patiently wait for YOU, so relax and work with them on YOUR schedule, not someone else’s! Kerry Engel has been designing our monthly sketches; and continues to come up with great ideas! This month’s sketch is a double page layout and we are all excited to see what stories you tell! I am sorry to say…my June sketch inspired layout is a 12×12 layout. I can’t even tell you the last time I did a double page layout [probably since losing horizontal space to scrapbooking product!], so without guilt, I adapted it to what…

Welcome back, crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here, and today I have a pretty little Spring-inspired butterfly layout to share featuring Pink & Main, Ranger, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Kelly Creates and Chameleon Color Tone Pens. Using a blending tool and Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks (Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick), create small blended circles diagonally across the 11×11 cardstock. Using Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink again (Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron) and the Pink & Main silhouette butterfly image stamp, stamp 3 images around where your photo will be in the middle of the layout. Using Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays, splatter colour across the layout diagonally. Let dry…

Hello and welcome to Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s Tuesday with the Team feature. I am Jayme Loge and I am so excited to show you what I have been up to! Starting with the Summer 2019 issue, the magazine is publishing a new ongoing article called “Planners Gonna Plan”, researched and written by yours truly. I’ve had a lot of fun diving into the world of planners so I can share with readers and I am learning a lot of great organizational tips too! I was given the opportunity to play with some new American Crafts ‘Kelly Creates’ products. I love the marker sets! If you know me personally, you know what a funny thing that is for me to say. I have such a love/hate relationship with coloring; I do enjoy it and find it relaxing, but I don’t have the time to really invest in developing my craft and…
