Today I was as a guest designer on the Quietfire Design blog.   I have used and loved Quietfire Design stamps before, but this was the first chance I got to play with their digital design files and the new metal dies designed by Quietfire Designs and manufactured by Elizabeth Craft Designs.   They are just gorgeous.

There are quite a few digital cutting files available at Quietfire Designs and they are easily downloaded and used by any electronic cutting machine that can accept svg files.

Here is one of the three thank you cards I made with a cutting file and the Sizzix Eclips2 electronic die cutting machine – click HERE to  head over to the Quietfire Design blog to see my other cards and learn a little about how I made them.  I love the way they all turned out – quick and easy just using specialty cardstock.

In addition to the Quietfire Design digital cut files and metal die, I used Core’dinations cardstock from the Tim Holtz Kraft Core Metallic and Glitter Silk Collections

and a Sizzix Eclips2 and Big Shot die cutting machine.

It was super easy to import the SVG files into the Sizzix Eclips 2 and cut delicate leaves and trees.  I am in love with that Core’dinations cardstock – the metallic sheets look so rich and the glitter stays on the the glitter cardstock!

I also added some simple sewing using gold thread and a Brother sewing machine.
