Whoooooo’s Sooooo Cute??!!

I am so excited to share with you this layout that is a direct result of me working with Creative Scrapbooker Magazine on their “Technique Taster’s Show” that is broadcast by Shaw Television and then becomes part of the “library of web shows” that Creative Scrapbooker Magazine has.

SUPPLIES: Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock, Clearsnap pigment ink, Art Screen, embossing powder, stylus and white foam tip, Art Impressions stamps and dies, May Arts ribbon, Tombow Dual Brush pens, Sizzix dies, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

My series of shows was a set of 3 different segments that you will get to see in just a few months. For each segment, I created a project where I stepped out some very fun and inky backgrounds that I believe you are going to love. I kept them easy and “colorful” and you will be able to use these ideas for your favorite layouts, your cards that you love to make or in your art journaling books. You will see them on the show in the scrapbook page format and card format …. I ran out of time to create art journal pages but if you use your “art journal eyes” you will be able to see the possibilities there. It all began with some fun art screens and ink from Clearsnap and thru the magic of television we share the steps with you.

The page I am sharing with you in this blog post is a combination of the techniques we step out. For this layout I added some fun stamps and I added color using a coloring technique that I share with you with in one of the episodes that is fun, easy and is done using your stamp pads. Yes, your stamp pads are HUGE multi-taskers … I totally am of the mind that I can do just about anything simply using my ink. I may just be addicted to my stamp pads. In the end this WILL save you money, so if you are a frugal stamper, scrapbooker, art journaller or crafter, you will love the techniques we will share with you. You may want to make sure you catch each episode of the “Technique Tasters” …. you do not want to miss a single idea.

So the final result using my ink and stamps and dies is a scrapbook page that makes this Grammom smile every time I look at it. Will these ideas become a card ….. absolutely! Will these ideas end up on a journaling page ….. oh, yes …. my art journal is a collection of my favorite ideas for altering white paper and this one is one of those. In the end it was a totally fun adventure filming these ideas for you and from the bottom of my very inky heart, I hope you enjoy the ideas I share with you thru your favorite, crafting magazine that totally has the look and feel of a book ….. Creative Scrapbook Magazine, except this time we come to you thru your television or your laptop or your phone . I promise to wave to you if you wave at me when you watch.
