Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a layout featuring Bo Bunny, Elizabeth Craft Designs Way with Words dies and a Quietfire Design stamp. This layout was inspired by the September sketch in the Creative Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge. It turned out looking nothing like the sketch, but hey. That’s the creative process. A sketch is a good place to start!
Here’s the September sketch designed by Kelly Klapstein. Be sure to go check out the new Sketchy Gallery and upload your interpretation of this sketch. I love to see how everyone else’s projects turn out.
The photos in this layout are of my friend Sue and her beautiful daughter Caitlin from 11 years ago. We used to take our children on all sorts of little adventures, and although the kids don’t remember any of them now, not a single one, the stamped quote is totally true. All the things we do with and for our kids add up to help shape who they become. Go make some autumn memories with your family. And takes lots of pictures!
Bo Bunny has the most wonderful patterned papers. I love the rich colours and patterns in this Enchanted Forest line and the matching Noteworthy die cuts are the perfect thing to embellish your projects.
I used a Stampin Up! punch to cut the ‘v’s in the ends of the patterned paper strips. Have you seen this punch? It is the coolest thing. You slip in pieces of paper that are 1, 1 1/2 and 2 inches wide and it makes a perfect banner!
The Autumn die is from the 4 seasons set of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs. This is a very versatile set for scrapbook layouts and combines easily with other Way with Words dies such as Memories to make a beautiful page title.
Supplies Used: Bo Bunny patterned paper and die cuts, Stampin’ Up! cardstock and banner edge punch, Clearsnap ink, Quietfire Design stamp, Elizabeth Craft Designs dies, Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L foam adhesive and tape runner, Brother sewing machine, May Arts ribbon.

Beautiful layout. I often do the same thing where by the sketch or layout I’m casing looks nothing like my end result. But it got the Creative juices flowing.

I need that punch!
