Cathie Allan was very busy designing projects using this  Art Impressions Christmas Slimline Stamp Set. Here is a look at one of the layouts she designed. And here is a fabulous coordinating card. That snowman from the Art Impressions Christmas Slimline stamp set is absolutely delicious. WOWZA! Stunning creations Cathie! I love that Cathie used the stamp on BOTH a card and a layout. We often purchase supplies with one thing in mind and forget that there are so many possibilities and projects that it could apply to! Cathie’s projects both  have a really unique aspect to them – they both include REMOVABLE tags that you can take off and hang on the Christmas tree. How stinkin’ cool is that! Both of these projects were featured in the Fall issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine in Cathie’s regular column – Cathie’s Choice.Do you have your copy yet? CLICK HERE to order…

Hey there! It’s Noreen Smith here to share a layout using one of the new U.S. Destinations Paper Packs and Stickers from Creative Memories with you! The four destinations featured – as voted on by Creative Memories Advisors! – are Florida, Great Lakes, New York City and Washington, D.C., and of course these new paper packs and stickers will be great for documenting your trips to those destinations. But you might be surprised at how well they will work with lots of other types of layouts too! For example, my family and I recently spent some Spring break on Vancouver Island where we enjoyed hiking the Wild Pacific Trail and visiting the historic Amphitrite Lighthouse near Ucluelet, British Columbia. I knew the U.S. Destinations Great Lakes Paper Pack and Stickers featured lighthouses, so I set out to see if I could make the fun Great Lakes papers work with my…

Yesturday, Therm O Web announced a new release of products and we got super excited! The line up includes NEW double-sided foam adhesives by Gina K. Designs and NEW Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts! YAHOOOOO! If you have not tried Toner Card Fronts as of yet – NOW is the time! They make adding sparkly foils to your project an absolute breeze! Now the words “CARD FRONT” might make you think that these products can only be used for card making (which they make creating beautiful cards so easy by the way) but this is just not the case! Check out this BEAUTIFUL layout we found over on the Therm O Web blog, designed by Jessica Michaels, demonstrating the versatility of Toner Card Fronts. Hi everyone Noreen Smith once again playing with Creative Memories! Happy to be back on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog today sharing a couple of layouts made with Creative Memories’ new Slice of Summer seasonal products! As soon as I saw the papers, stickers and variety mat pack for this collection I knew it would work for lots of fun summer photos. For the first layout I chose several photos of my family at the beach last year in Osoyoos, British Columbia. The photos are not the best, as the sun was behind my sons as they stood in the lake, but I wanted to use them to remember the lovely, relaxing holiday that we had. I figured that cropping them down would help, so I chose the best photo to leave as the largest (4” x 4”), then trimmed down the supporting photos to 3” x 3”. I matted all…

So why not start by preparing some scrapbook layouts for your Disney vacation before you leave. Using the Magic and Wonder Collection Kit from Echo Park some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Runner Grand tape runner as well as a few products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create my Magical Fun scrapbook layout. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage as I show you how I created some of the elements on my layout as well as I hope that I have inspired you to recreate this project in the comforts of your…

I’m so lucky my mom has survived her fight and we have her with us! I also need to check myself again this month because on my last mammogram the radiologist detected something she wants to closely monitor because of my family history. If you’re over 40 or if you have family history don’t let the time pass. Make an appointment to get checked today!  Give a friend of family member the support they need. Put some positive energy out there. Run or walk a marathon and pass the word.  We are in this…

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a layout featuring Bo Bunny, Elizabeth Craft Designs Way with Words dies and a Quietfire Design stamp.   This layout was inspired by the September sketch in the Creative Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge.  It turned out looking nothing like the sketch, but hey.  That’s the creative process.  A sketch is a good place to start! Here’s the September sketch designed by Kelly Klapstein.  Be sure to go check out the new Sketchy Gallery and upload your interpretation of this sketch.  I love to see how everyone else’s projects turn out. The photos in this layout are of my friend Sue and her beautiful daughter Caitlin from 11 years ago.  We used to take our children on all sorts of little adventures, and although the kids don’t remember any of them now, not a single one, the stamped quote is totally true.  All the things we…
