Hi, Connie Nichol here today with a layout featuring some bright sunny colours and a couple of easy techniques featuring reinkers, gesso and cling wrap.

Supplies Used:  CTMH stamps, ink, reinkers, heart dies, cardstock and patterned paper, Ranger Industries gesso, stencil and glossy paper.

I started by tinting some white gesso from Ranger with a few drops of Lemon reinker from Close to My Heart and smooshing it through a Dina Wakley large block stencil onto a piece of cardstock.  I just wanted to take the edge off of the white, but if you wanted a more intense colour, just add more reinker to customize the gesso colour to whatever you want.

While that was drying, I made some marbleized looking paper by spraying some ink onto a piece of crumpled cling wrap and pressing onto a piece of glossy paper.  I let that dry too, then cut out a variety of hearts with the CTMH Heart thin cuts dies.  You can watch me do these techniques step by step on the Creative Scrapbooker technique taster video here.
