Supplies Used
To color the illustration Betty used Irojiten Colored Pencils from Tombow. Beautifully crafted colored pencils with soft lead produces rich, creamy texture and smooth even blending. High quality wax-based, artist grade pencils. Easily layer colors without waxy build-up. Wide range of vivid to soft colors – including fluorescent colors. 3 volumes per set, 10 colors per volume, 30 colors per set. Three unique sets available: Rainforest, Woodlands and Seascape
She also used the classic Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Dual Brush Pens have two tips – a versatile, flexible nylon brush tip and a fine tip for smooth lines, with a single ink reservoir ensuring exact color match. Create fine, medium or bold strokes by a change in brush pressure or draw consistent lines for borders, graphics and tight drawings with the fine tip.
The base of the illustration was created on Recollection cardstock from Michaels.
