Ranger Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks
You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite Summer beverage as I share with you how to recreate my card at home. To start, you’ll need the 4” Stitched Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs as well as a piece of Dina Wakley – Cotton Watercolour Paper from Ranger Ink. Die cut the 4” stitched rectangle out of the paper. Choose a piece of tissue paper out of the Dina Wakley – Collage Paper from Ranger Ink. Tear three pieces off of the paper. Use Distress Collage Medium – Matte from Ranger Ink to adhere the tissue paper pieces to the stitched rectangle as desired. Sprinkle Raspberry, Chartreuse and Turquoise Magenta Nuance from Magenta over top of the tissue paper. Spritz the powder with water. Dry the powder with a heat tool. Out of the Dina Wakley – Textures stamp set from Ranger Ink, choose one of the textures. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the texture stamp and stamp as desired around the tissue. Reapply ink to the stamp five more times and stamp. Next, you’ll need the Dina Wakley’s Xs stencil from Ranger Ink. Place the Xs stencil as desired on the paper, use a blending tool with foam and Black Soot Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, to blend the ink through the stencil. Repeat this previous step five more times. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Out of the Dina Wakley – Just What to Say Stamp set from Ranger Ink you’ll want the “Have a Super Birthday” sentiment. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the sentiment and stamp onto a piece of Dina Wakley – Cotton Watercolour Paper from Ranger Ink. Die-cut the sentiment out of the 1 1/8” Stitched Fishtail Banner from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Cut the banner down to 3”. Distress the edges of the banner. Ink the edges of the banner using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Out of the Dina Wakley – Good Idea stamp set from Ranger Ink you’ll need all of the flowers. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the large flower and stamp onto Dina Wakley’s – Cotton Watercolour paper from Ranger Ink. Repeat the previous step for the flowers. You’ll need one large flower, two medium flowers, and two small flowers. Using Dina Wakley’s Scribble Sticks from Ranger Ink to watercolour the flowers. Once the flowers have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the flowers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Choose a piece of paper our of the Dina Wakley – Media Collage Collective from Ranger Ink. Out of the Stitched Rectangles from Elizabeth Craft Designs, you’ll need the 4 ½” stitched rectangle. Use 3D Foam squares and Thin Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the flowers over the top of the tissue, making sure some of the tissue shows. Use the EZ Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the sentiment banner in amongst the flowers. Use E-Z Runner Grand from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 4” rectangle to the 4 ½” rectangle.
