Hi Friends!
If you are like me, crafting is more than a hobby. Crafting is helping me get through this pandemic. Specifically scrapbooking typically helps me zone in on the happy memories. Today’s page shows my daughter and her two friends going to their first dance. At the time I was more excited about it than the girls as I was nostalgic thinking about when I was a tween. It didn’t go exactly as planned – and for that reason, I laughed out loud creating the page. And that. That was just what I needed at that moment. 
This project began with the Stampin’ Up! In Good Taste 12×12 patterned paper. I am drawn to this paper. It’s super versatile for both memory keeping and card making.
Because I am trying to close out my November 2019 scrapbook album, I knew what photos to use. I then began to write my story. The Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangle Framelits had a die that was the perfect size to allowed me to string up a sweet heart embellishment from the Playful Pets Trinkets. It’s so perfect. 
The pictures are layered with dies from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Many Layered Blossoms Dies, as well as square vellum doily. If you look closely there’s a photo in behind the top two. I didn’t like the size of my original photos… and so, I just left them there. I continued to layer and layer. Call me wild… call me lazy… either way, it got the job done.
I am so happy to have this story captured. I can’t wait to document more!
