Hey there! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share some fun cards that have a cool retro-vibe with you! Everything old is new again, right? I’m sure digging these groovy cards from the “Gee, Golly” Card Kit by Creative Memories, man! This retro card kit kicks it back old-school style and includes all the ingredients to create 12 DIY cards with a vintage palette of dusty blue, pink, navy, mustard yellow, minty green, orange, and taupe. If you love that vintage and retro feel then you’ll love the design icons featured in this kit, like the cassette tape, typewriter, file folders, and rotary dial phone! And the fun sentiments like “You have the ticket to my heart”, “Gee, thanks!”, “Remember When?” and “So happy 4 you,” means that you’ll have cards suitable for almost any occasion!

The kit comes complete with step-by-step instructions, twelve pre-folded card bases, pre-cut & pre-labeled pieces, enamel stickers, and envelopes with decorative liners for all the cards. Plus, you’ll find BONUS pieces to create additional crafts or projects all packaged in a cute reusable gift box. The only other thing you’ll need to supply is adhesive! All twelve cards can be put together in about an hour and then you’ll be ready to send off fun and funky greetings at a moment’s notice. First, take out all the card pieces and sort them into piles according to the numbers and letters printed on the backside. Then follow the step-by-step instructions to assemble each set of pieces into a cute card! You can use Tape Runner Adhesive to make quick work of adhering the pieces together or use Foam Squares to give some dimension to the various layers and elements.

All the cards are awesome, but the ones I love the most are the two that have an interactive spinning wheel that rotates to show a variety of sentiments! The kit includes the two brads and pre-cut circles that are used to create the spinners, and it’s easier than you might think to assemble them: simply layer the circles on either side of the spinner, secure with the brad through the pre-punched holes, and add the adhesive onto the small circles to allow the wheel to spin freely behind the die-cut window. How ingenious! Don’t forget that you can mix and match the regular and bonus pieces, or add the enamel stickers to give your cards a custom look. It’s groovy, baby!
