Howdy! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share four ideas and tips for making up the fantastic paper Mini Photo Albums from Creative Memories! I love this new Cherish, Treasure and Appreciate You Bundle and with Mother’s and Father’s Day coming up, these make the perfect little gift albums to celebrate Mom and Dad – or any other special people in your life! The bundle features two 8” x 8” paper Mini Photo Albums – one with a soft, more feminine palette and the other with bolder, masculine colors – and a coordinating sticker sheet with sayings like “Best Mom Ever” and “My Hero”. The bundle components are also sold individually so if you need three masculine albums and only one feminine album, CM has got you covered! I thought it would be fun to share a few ideas on how you can approach making these albums to really customize them…

Hello! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com today to share a fun and crafty layout with you today! Since I was in New Orleans back in November, and Mardi Gras is just around the corner, this is the perfect time to share a layout featuring the new “Let the Good Times Roll” Paper Pack and Masquerade Border Punch from Creative Memories! These items (and a gorgeous coordinating Album cover!) were created to commemorate the CM Incentive Trip for Advisors to New Orleans Louisiana (NOLA) that I was lucky enough to attend! The purple, green and gold are traditional Mardi Gras colors and the page of cut aparts featured all the fun things we did during our time there!  Inspired by the mask in one of the cut aparts and on the Border Punch, I decided to create my own larger paper mask for a layout about visiting the Mardi Gras Museum where…

Hi there! Noreen here from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com sharing a sweet baby scrapbook layout idea with you using Creative Memories newest addition – the Lullaby Lane Collection! Inspired by the cute one-piece jammies embellishments and images in the collection, I couldn’t resist creating a full page one-piece that acts as both a design element and a “frame” for photos of my youngest son Sam when he was just a tiny newborn! (Oh the memories working with these photos brought back!) Although my babies are teenagers now, I can’t help fall in love with each and every new baby collection that CM offers. This one is particularly lovely – the three Paper Packs feature a sophisticated color scheme that not only works for baby boy, girl and gender-neutral projects, but also for grown-up boy, girl and gender-neutral projects! LOVE it! There are also two gorgeous, foiled Albums, Fast2Fab Refill Pages, Stickers, Die-Cut Embellishments…

Hi friends! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com , grateful to be here to share my take on this month’s Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s Sketchy Challenge! I’ve been thinking about Gratitude a lot this month – it was this month’s theme in the year long course that I teach and of course American Thanksgiving is happening next week. And I just returned from an amazing trip to New Orleans that I was so thankful to have experienced! So, it was natural to want to create a Gratitude themed layout using the new “I am Grateful Project Recipe Kit” released by Creative Memories this month. The kit includes eight beautiful double-sided patterned papers, two sticker sheets and an exclusive Recipe Template, as well as instructions to cut and create two double-page spreads! When I opened the kit, I found that one of the papers featured a twelve-square grid – much like the one that Kerry…

Hey there! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to show you a step-by step, super-fast layout using the beautiful It’s Fall, Y’all Collection from Creative Memories! I shared a double page layout using this same collection last month, but I’m still in a Fall mood since it has been such a lovely Autumn where I live! But, I only have a few sheets of this fantastic collection left so I’m making the most of it – and my time! – with a quick and easy 5 Step – 5 Minute Single Page Layout.  Step 1: Pick your papers – I chose the cute pumpkin paper from the It’s Fall, Y’all Paper Pack and a piece from the coordinating Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack for my base page. Cut two 8” x 3” strips of the patterned paper and adhere them along the right-hand edge of the base page at top and bottom. Add a…

Welcome Fall! Hi friends…Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a double page layout featuring the gorgeous new It’s Fall, Y’all Collection from Creative Memories! The colors and patterns were inspired by the beauty of crisp autumn days and you’ll find it perfect for photos of all things Fall…like scenic fall foliage drives, corn mazes, apple picking, Halloween, Thanksgiving, family gatherings and more! I had so much fun creating SIX double page layouts with this collection and teaching a class how to make them during the recent Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in Calgary. The ladies who joined me for the class were amazing, and would you believe we made all six layouts in just two hours? Here is one of the layouts we created… We used my 1-2-3 method to create it –  take 1 piece of double-sided patterned paper, 2 sheets of paper/cardstock or album pages for the base and…

Hello friends! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a fun idea using a super fun collection – the new Sparks of Magic Collection from Creative Memories! With all it’s bright colors and fun icons, it’s the perfect collection to document all your favorite moments from trips to amusement parks and fairs, family getaways and countless other adventures! I hate to admit it, but I am not always efficient at scrapbooking photos from our family vacations right away. In fact, I documented a trip to Disneyland that my family and I took in 2019 BEFORE I had finished scrapbooking the photos of our 2013 trip! Yikes! So when I saw this collection, I knew it was high time to get the rest of those photos into my albums and decided to make some quick layouts using the Multi-Pocket Pages. They allow you to create almost instant pages by simply sliding…

Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here sharing a layout featuring Creative Memories new Happy Camper Collection! The colors, patterns, icons and sayings in this rustic but whimsical collection will be great for capturing all your summer campsite memories and other outdoor adventures! When I was going through boxes of old photos from my parent’s home recently, I found some “vintage” photos of me heading off to Girl Guide Camp laden down with a huge backpack. I remember that I was NOT a happy camper at the time as the backpack weighed more than I did, but I do remember that I had a great time at camp! It was fun to use these photos along with the cute Happy Camper Stickers and Embellishments on this layout. Using one of the two woodgrain papers from the Happy Camper Paper Pack as my base, I layered a 4” x 10.5” strip of the striped…

Hey there! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com and I’m happy to be here to share my take on Kerry Engel’s fun June Sketch using some of the new Botanical Burst Collection from Creative Memories. This pretty mix-and match collection offers four paper packs and four embellishment packs in Blue, Pinks, Greens and Yellows, so there’s bound to be a match for almost any photos that you’re scrapping! When I saw Kerry’s sketch, I loved the look of the large half circle in the background with photos off to the side.  I used my Jumbo Circle with the Blue Blade from the Custom Cutting System to cut a large circle from the green leaf patterned paper from the Botanical Burst Green Paper Pack. (*You could also use the new Circle Cutter which cuts and draws circles from 3” to 11.75”. This new tool was so hot that it is out of stock…

Hi there! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a layout featuring a favorite saying and sweet photos of my son Grayson when he was just a chubby little guy! I used Creative Memories “Outta This World” Collection which is a kid’s space-themed collection for this layout. The combination of bright and pastel tones will work for layouts featuring all your little astronauts’ adventures! The Stickers and Foiled Embellishments are so whimsical and fun, and when I saw the “I Love You to the Moon and Back” word sticker I knew I wanted to use it on a layout for Grayson’s baby album. I vividly remember reading the sweet little book “Guess How Much I Love You?” to him when he was a baby, and for me (like so many parents!) the phrase “I love you to the moon and back” was an everyday expression of the boundless love I felt…
