When I was going through boxes of old photos from my parent’s home recently, I found some “vintage” photos of me heading off to Girl Guide Camp laden down with a huge backpack. June Sketchy Challenge with Botanical Burst By Creative Memories | Noreen Smith

Hey there! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com and I’m happy to be here to share my take on Kerry Engel’s fun June Sketch using some of the new Botanical Burst Collection from Creative Memories. This pretty mix-and match collection offers four paper packs and four embellishment packs in Blue, Pinks, Greens and Yellows, so there’s bound to be a match for almost any photos that you’re scrapping! When I saw Kerry’s sketch, I loved the look of the large half circle in the background with photos off to the side. I used my Jumbo Circle with the Blue Blade from the Custom Cutting System to cut a large circle from the green leaf patterned paper from the Botanical Burst Green Paper Pack. Hi there! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a layout featuring a favorite saying and sweet photos of my son Grayson when he was just a chubby little guy! I used Creative Memories “Outta This World” Collection which is a kid’s space-themed collection for this layout. The combination of bright and pastel tones will work for layouts featuring all your little astronauts’ adventures! The Stickers and Foiled Embellishments are so whimsical and fun, and when I saw the “I Love You to the Moon and Back” word sticker I knew I wanted to use it on a layout for Grayson’s baby album. When I saw the new Homestead Collection from Creative Memories, I immediately noticed how much it reflects the ongoing “Farmhouse Chic” trend in home design and started to think about ways I could incorporate some parts of the collection into décor pieces for my own home. Hi! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here with a post-Thanksgiving Layout featuring the ThankFULL Theme Pack from Creative Memories! I know I’ve said it before, but I love Theme Packs: they’ve got plenty of supplies to create a few thematic layouts, but not so many that you have leftovers like you would from a full collection. They are available for lots of different themes and occasions, and the price point can’t be beat – just $12.00 (CA) for four sheets of double sided paper, one sheet of coordinating cardstock plus sticker embellishments! We scrapbookers and papercrafters love, love, love our tools and are always excited to try out the latest and greatest, but it can be very satisfying to get back to basics and create with simple tools like stencils or templates, scissors and pens. I had lots of fun using the Apple Recipe Template, Hello, Autumn Journal Template, Micro-Tip Scissors, Navy Dual-Tip Pen, Alphabet Stamp Kit System and Celebrations Title Stamp along with the lovely Hello, Autumn Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack to create an apple-themed layout!
