These are the moments I want to remember. This is what it’s all about.

How lucky am I to be staying at Grandma’s house and playing cards every night? At 84 years young my grandparents are living on their own 8 hours away from our family. They contribute to their community and go back and forth to their cabin. It’s amazing and I am so grateful for their health. So, when visiting Grandma’s house, I can’t help but feel like I want to freeze time. In some way, memory keeping does just that – allows me to just freeze time. To document this memory, I printed the photo in black and white. It just felt right. Using the Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Designer Series Paper, I cut two squares and halved them into triangles in order to anchor to photo. The Blossoms in Bloom die cut was a perfect backing to the photo but it required two die cuts. The Hand Penned Memories and More card pack already had the same colour combinations so I used the “Today’s Events” sticker to use as a title on this layout. One of the best things about Stampin’ Up! is that there is a consistency in colours. Because I used the Hand Penned Suite, it allowed me to limit my supplies to the suite but also that it coordinated. This makes for easy creating.
