Here it comes. The beginning of the Halloween season.
absolutely love scrapbooking Halloween photos.
With three young children, there are plenty of parties and events.
Unfortunately, last year, I didn’t get a chance to print photos. So, here I am a year later getting those photos in albums. I am not going to lie to you… it has gotten me so excited for this month! Like many holidays or events, there’s almost too many pictures. Even after you cull your photos on your device, there’s still too many to fit on a traditional layout. In order to tackle my “I have too many pictures” problem, I always pair a full size photo with a pocket page. It always comes down to selecting your one favourite photo and printing it in oversize. Leaving the remaining photos, left for the pocket page.
When looking at my full size photo, this design has been re-used many times in my albums over the years. There is no re-inventing the wheel. It works! You can find embellishments on the top left and then more on the bottom right. Do you “re-use” your designs?Because I scrapbook in 8.5” x 11”, I usually use Photoshop or PicCollage to place 7 to 9 photos in a 3”x3” grid. Then I just send it to the printer – sometimes it’s on my home printer and other times its at my local print shop.
It’s so much fun to embellish once you have those photos printed. So, my plea to you today is to get those photos printed and placed in pocket pages. Someday you’ll have time to sit down and embellish them. When you do, you’ll be so glad you did – it’s so good for the soul.
Hope you enjoy making memories on Halloween! Get those pictures printed and in albums, my friends!
Happy Halloween!
