Hello everyone – Vicki Wizniuk here on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Today I am sharing a layout I created using the brand new Basics Fundamentals papers from Close to My Heart! This summer I got to meet some cousins for the first time, so that was pretty awesome!  I wanted to document that special moment in my life, and I created this layout to do just that. I am loving the new CTMH Heart Border Thin Cuts, which comes with two different metal die borders.  I cut the hearts out from the Basic Fundamentals paper. It added the perfect little detail to my layout.I also used the new CTMH Family Thin Cuts die, along with White Glitter Paper for the title. The embellishments I used on my layout are the new Better Together Complements, and White Pearls. You definitely need to pick up the Basic Fundamentals collection from Close To My…

At the end of every single paper crafting project you will  most certainly find adhesives and yet it is one of the most over looked tools in the industry. Finding the right glue for your projects is just as, if not more important,  than choosing colours and design. If it doesn’t stick, your projects fall apart – giggle giggle. Opening my albums to find something on a layout has fallen off is one of my biggest pet peeves. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L If you have been a follower or fan of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine – you will know that we have been huge fans of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L from basically the beginning.  You want your project to stick – they got you covered! Here are just a few of their products that I simply cannot live without! Check out this video of Christine Meyer’s featuring 5 of their products…

Art journaling , for me, looks rather intimidating.  There are so many layers of goodness that I often have no idea where to start. Like this page from Consie Sindet for The Crafter’s Worshop that features stenciling. Stenciling I am constantly on the look out for easy to follow videos on art journaling that I can follow along and replicate. SISTER TIME! Hello everyone – Cathie Allan here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Time with those you love is so very precious. The very cool thing about scrapbooking is when we create those memories we can “keep them forever” in a visual form that we get to enjoy the rest of our lives. We DO NOT have to rely on our “less than perfect” memory. PLUS we have the shear joy of living that memory repeatedly not only as we create but every time we take them out to reminisce.  My two beautiful daughters were recently together in Mexico for some very special “sister time”. My girls have been best friends since they were little and as a mom, I feel very blessed to live their trip through the photos they shared with me. To create this page I used techniques that I will be teaching in one…

There are some layouts that just stop you in your tracks. That is exactly what I did when I found this layout over at Kaisercraft.  Tatiana Yemelyanenko designed this layout featuring all kinds of their products including glitter cardstock, flourishes, chipboard, pearls, rhinestones, blooms, ink and MORE. This  layout is truly packed with scrapboooking love.   Layers and layers of paper, flowers, die cuts, pearls and dimensional adhesive have been put together as a frame-like focal point for the adorable black and white photo. The added touch of ink splatters here and there are the perfect final touch.  Project of the Month What I discovered as I kept on browsing the Kaisercraft website is that each and every month, they feature a project of the month. That is what this stunning layout was created for! I also discovered that Tatiana used a beautiful new collection from Kaisercraft called Lilac Whisper that…
